I went to get a state inspection this morning. Waited in line for fifteen minutes before someone even came out to greet me. Said it would be 1 hour. An hour for a $13 checklist that takes 5 minutes? Only one other car appeared to be in the same line? He admitted they were short staffed but it is their usual timing now. I had an appointment ( made on line at their website) for 1130, but went at 1015, hoping to get an oil change too. He said that would be 1-1.5 hours. During the 20 minutes i waited in their lane, not one car of the two lane work bays in the Express Lube portion of their building budged, moved or exited. (No Express here)! I politely chose to leave instead. It was my first time visiting this business, but it just wasnt working out. I'll go somewhere else.

After transplanting from Florida I needed a new mechanic and Thomas Tire was both close to my home and immediately responsive. I pulled in for an Express Lube service and they were able to replace my filters and swap out my car battery on top of usual maintenance (oil change and tire rotation), all for under $300. These are my new car guys now, I'll be back for when I need to replace my wheels and get my fluids flushed! Y'all rock.

i would give this place negative stars if it was possible, brought my car in for a easy fix of a Catalytic converter….got the car back one day later where it then started to leak fluids and overheat causing engine to shut off and check engine light was back on….got it towed back, they said the put a bad catalytic converter on and the fluid just drained out, it overheated again so i brought it back where they then said the car was unable to be driven and that they were not going to fix it or reimburse any money i spent for them to fix it. My car DID NOT have an overheating problem or a leak before coming to this place and was completely driveable. People were unprofessional and rude. now i am without a vehicle and thousands of dollars wasted. I understand mistakes happen but to not even try to help fix a problem that was created after you worked on the car is plan unprofessionalism not even an Im sorry or referred to another place that could help .

My wife took our Ford Explorer to get a new set of tires on our car at the beginning of December 2022. The Aberdeen location didn't have them in stock however the Sanford location advised they could install them for us. Two thousand dollars later after getting a new set of tires as well as brakes and rotors, she was on her way. At the time of purchase, we were notified of a recall from Ford for a rear toe-link replacement which was completed at Crossroads Ford dealership in March of 2023. We have had at least two oil changes during this period from December until now and was never told by anyone at the oil change locations nor from the Ford dealership that our rear alignment was off. Up until a few days ago, a visual inspection of the front tires and what could be seen on the rear showed to be wearing perfectly. It wasn't until two days ago when my wife got a flat tire and it was removed that we saw premature wear on the inside edge of the tire. This was alarming because, number 1, I didn't know that the rear suspension needed to be aligned, and number 2, there were no indications that anything was wrong as the tires are only 10 months old. On top of that now there is a screw in the tire. I called Thomas Tire and inquired about getting a replacement and they stated it would have to be repaired first and then replaced if unsuccessful. The invoice that my wife received when she purchased the tires said "FREE alignment check with tire purchase" so I assumed everything checked out as we weren't told we needed a front or rear alignment. The invoice also states "3 year FREE replacement tire protection plan" which we bought for insurance. Right underneath this it says "The price of each tire will be covered for 3 years, 'NO Hassle!'". To my knowledge the tires were not rotated during this 10 month period because they looked perfect from a customer perspective, plus they were still relatively new. Again, not once during any oil change, vehicle inspection, and recall visit did anyone mention anything about my rear tires or the rear alignment. So, Thomas Tire tells us that the tire is not covered under warranty because we don't have proof of them getting rotated. I went on the website, looked on the invoice, and nowhere can I find where it says the tires must be rotated every 5k miles or else it isn't covered. Thomas Tire says it's because of neglect, and failure to do the recall. This is false because we DID the recall, got oil changes/service within 100 miles of due date, and had it inspected but we "neglected" our vehicle. A phone call to the Ford dealership confirmed our repair. Thomas Tire made us pay for a new tire upon their recommendation and didn't honor the warranty. The NO Hassle promise turned into a big hassle and for this reason, my family along with my in-laws and their family will refuse to go back to Thomas Tire for service or tire purchases. I've bought two sets of tires from them as well as had service done to several vehicles but not anymore. Nice job Thomas Tire, you just lost several customers because of how this was handled.

Professional, fast, and trustworthy service! They have a childcare area, a large lounge, and a FREE shuttle service! (Paul aka SANTA)I was so worried about how long I was going to be without my vehicle, and it only took about four hours! Couldn’t recommend them more!

Absolutely wonderful experience here. My car started making a strange sound a few months after having thousands of dollars worth of work done at a dealership. I decided to take it somewhere other than the dealer because I suspected that they would try to cover up the source of the problem. I called Thomas Tire and they truly listened to me when I was describing the problem so they could set me up with the right mechanic, and I was able to get an appointment for 2 days later. When I dropped my car off I expected to wait there all day since I didn't have a ride, but they have a complimentary shuttle that took me home then picked me up 2 hours later when my car was done. The driver, Dan, was so kind and genuine. They did a comprehensive diagnosis both by driving the car and running it while up on the lift, and determined that the source of the problem was the transfer case which had been replaced a few months prior. They charged a fair price for the diagnosis and gave me a printed report of the problem and other things that they checked that were in good condition. I now feel confident going to the dealership with a diagnosis from an outside source! I will absolutely be back to Thomas and Tire and would recommend them to everyone.

Great, quick service. Respectful & friendly staff. Thinking I happened to pick a great morning for oil change wait times. I was in and out in less than an hour. Have been before when the wait was four hours.

They have a sign in the lobby that states they offer service on par with Audi Mercedes etc but today I was hung up on multiple times, spoken down to and treated absolutely horrible by the front office. Dont let the new building fool you. Ive used Thomas Tire since early 2000s. They are not honest, punctual or dependable. The front office communication is horrible. Bad attitudes. Seems they grew too much without the employees to support the growth. I would not recommend for anything other than basic tire service.

I want to personally thank the team (staff) at a Thomas Tire's for finding the right socket for my son's after market wheels since we literally needed a set of new tires since they were severely worn for his truck.Thank you for going the extra mile and for your excellent "customer Goodwill"!

Thomas Tire is a well run organization with top level technicians and mechanics. They are honest and open about what is truly needed for your vehicle versus up selling while taking advantage of the customer. My visit allowed me to talk to the mechanic (Matt) and openly discuss and watch him perform work on my car. Upon completion of the work he took it for a test drive insuring that it met his expectations and mine. I would highly recommend this service center as they present themselves with honesty and expertise above and beyond. High marks from me for the team at Thomas Tire.

Historically used Thomas Tire for tires, brakes and alignment. New facility, much expanded. I requested a 100,000 mile visit for my SUV. I did not want a 100K package but rather picked 7 services my vehicle needed, hoping i would be done in one day. Less than 2.5 hrs after drop off, I was called that it was done. No problems identified. Cost was less than I expected. They had to have lifted my SUV and put 2 mechanics on it, draining everything I requested in one shot than finishing the service. Very pleased with the efficiency and completeness.

Made a 9am appointment for new tires and an alignment…took them 3.5hrs to complete. Similar service at other locations in the area take or have taken 90 minutes or less. Nice people, big facility, no issues with prices, but that was an unbelievable amount of time for a “bread ‘n butter” service. It’s a tire shop.
