This store needs to be trained in customer service. The cashier I had made an error on my transaction and the asst. manager Greg Williams was rude, condescending, and dismissive to me. It was a horrible experience! I was extremely disappointed in how I was treated and his behavior towards me. I will never return to this store.

I went there today and pretty young African American girl told me to next time empty my hand basket on the belt and it would be easier for her. I had just had a death in my family. She needs training on customer kindness. I will think twice on shopping there again. So disappointed.

This dollar store is the closest one to me and maybe the only one in Chapel Hill. First of all, they get 2 stars because everything is a dollar! Lol. I come here to get certain hygiene items and seasonal decor. Toothpaste, floss pics, mouth wash, shampoo, conditioner, hair accesories, cotton balls, qtips etc etc. I always leave feeling so accomplished when I need to re-up on these things and spend less than $10 when if I went somewhere else I'd spend that or more on 2 products. The seasonal decor is always on point. I decorated my Christmas tree with only dollar store ornaments and garland and got so many compliments. I did an entire fall theme, winter theme, and spring theme for my office and always spend less than $20. They always have yard signs, wreaths, hats or ears to match. They also had a ton of Halloween, Vday, St. Patrick's day and Easter decor as well. Basically any holiday or season you can expect to find appropriate decor here in abundance. I also purchased some home decor here as well using the artifical plants, vases and decorative rocks that looks like it came from a department store. Overall I like this store and it meets my immediate needs. I do wish they had more of the natural hair products that are listed online but other than that I love this place!

Wow-first to review? Really? I was needing to get some cheap Halloween goodies other than candy to give out and to make a goody bag to play the "Phantom" game in our neighborhood. (You put together a Halloween bag and leave it on the front doorstep and then the next night this person does the same-kind of like a chain letter but one you want to open.) I don't want my neighbors to know just how cheap I am willing to risk it, my dear reader, so I can save you some money as well. In addition to cheap plastic goods they do have good deals on every day items. Cards, toothpaste, detergent, pet care, skin care (name brand even). Beats paying supermarket or drugstore prices for household items. They don't take credit cards, just debit, check or cash so be aware of that. But did I mention the best thing about this place? The employee that waited on me. She was the friendliest, most pleasant person I have come across in and out of stores for a long time. I wish I had gotten her name but she was working 10/18 at around 11:30 am when I was there today so I hope management/owners take note. If I owned a store I would pay her double just to work for me.
