Stopped into this Dollar General to buy my niece's birthday card and gift. I gathered everything I wanted ($20 - $25 worth of items) and brought it to the counter. There was a cashier stocking something at the checkout waiting area and we greeted one another. I went to the counter and placed my items down, assuming that she was on her way since we had said hello and I was clearly on my way to the register when I walked by her. Finally, after about 5 minutes, she moved to the front of the register next to me, opened up a step stool, and sat down on it to begin stocking items there. I waited patiently as I didn't want to be rude and stop her from finishing what she was doing. However, after an additional 15 minutes of standing there waiting while the cashier ignored me and continued to open box after box of items to stock, I just walked out as i couldn't afford to wait any longer. Management really needs to review their camera footage to make sure this lady isn't losing sales like that regularly.

It's your typical Dollar General; however, as others have said this location appears to be better managed: it is more organized and continuously stocked than many locations.

I went in the dollar general because I often go to a different one so I wanted to see if this one differed as soon as I went in there this Elderly lady employee was staring me down, I ignored it and started looking around I found as I was going down isles I would see her pass by and look at me I again ignored it thinking maybe she was just checking on customers maybe she was trying to be polite even if she didn't look so nice I didn't saw a new item I haven't seen before there was no seal cap on it I carefully open the top of it saw that it had a rollerball on it and it wasn't what I thought it was on top of the fact that it was pricey and decided I didn't want it set it back down in the same exact condition I picked it up and nobody would ever know that it was looked at I did not ruin it I noticed that she was literally at the end of the aisle just staring at me and made me very uncomfortable which was part of the reason I had put it back down so I decided just to do the grocery shopping portion that I was going to do and she go elsewhere to a different store because she was making me uncomfortable before I even finished that she went and grabbed a random bottle of the stuff that I had looked at before came out to me and tried to bully me into buying it by saying that no one would want it now even though there was nothing wrong with it I didn't want to argue with her so I just told her I did not have the money to purchase it and it wasn't what I had wanted after looking at it and she asked me why I would even look at it then and made faces Then told me that it was illegal to do that so I just left instead of buying anything, and I will not be going back to that store.
