“We had a king bed room and it was very large. It had a jacuzzi tub and a tiled walkin shower with three shower heads and a heated towel rack. Also an electric fireplace. Very nice. The lighting the room was dim but we had 3 windows which provided enough additional light. The room was very clean, beds comfortable, and no noise.

Location, location…and free parking! Parking can be expensive in this area so having free parking is a big plus. The hotel is within steps of the restaurants, bars, shopping and area attractions. But it does not get noisy.

The staff is amazing. Very helpful and they always have a smile. There is a continental breakfast. Do not expect waffles, eggs, or sausage. Expect muffins, croissants, yogurt, tea, coffee, juices and fruit. This was actually all we really needed.”

“One of the nicer hotels in St. John's Newfoundland. Rooms are clean with all necessary amenities, including TV and Wi-Fi. People are very pleasant and helpful and the service is excellent. Missing a few of the amenities you might expect at a high-end hotel, such as an updated gym. They do have a gym area with some excellent cardio machines but the weight room is old, tired and in fact a little smelly.

Nearby activities: Sheraton is located close to two major streets, Duckworth and water Street. You can get to the heart of downtown walking in approximately 20 minutes. St. John's Newfoundland itself has mostly bars and pubs. Not a wide range of high-end restaurants from what I can tell. Once again people friendly service is good. The prices in the local restaurants are comparable to prices and other major cities of Canada, however, I thought they would have been cheaper.”
