Harvey's Salt is a very large and long salt pile plus a sand pile. The city uses about 28,000 tons of salt a year for it's streets and this is where it is stored. It is very long and about two storeys high and covered by two really large tarps that are held down by multiple large tires. It is a bit of an eyesore but this is a working harbour and to store elsewhere would require using many many trucks to move it.
