We were just stopping for the night while on our mini Newfoundland Road trip. The room was booked in advance and as we came into Lewisporte, late at night, unfortunately nothing was open to eat at except McDonald's as far as I could tell. The room was very nice although the hotel was under renovations , this didn't seem to affect us at all. The hotel has an associated restaurant which was nice for a hot tasty breakfast early in the morning before we hit the road. Great price, nice room, good food! Would definitely stay again.

Our first room had an awful odor. They changed us to another room, which was not much better. Customer service was great. The folks that work here are super nice, but the building is under renovation and needs to be brought up to standards. Beds were comfy and rooms were looking clean but smelly.

Dropped in there for supper this evening. Waitress kept getting our order wrong and kept coming back and adding what we said we wanted. Main course was fine once she got it right. Was not even going to ask if we wanted dessert. We asked for dessert. No pies available. There were 3 of us. Our cakes were frozen. I could barely get my fork down through it. No idea what it tasted like because it was frozen. Will not go back there again. Very bad service.

Rooms were clean but a little runned down. Bathrooms need updating. Hotel was barely full but by 8:00 am only freezing cold showers available. Breakfast service was too slow with waits.

No coffee machines in rooms and no breakfast available on site. My only major complaint. Other than that the place is a little rundown on the outside, but the rooms are clean and staff are helpful and friendly.

I only stopped in for food.The dining room is big and spacious. Gives the impression of being clean. The menu has a selection of home cooked meals. The food was good and portions were generous. Service is a little slow from the time you walk in. Wouldn't suggest if you're in a rush to get anywhere, but a good spot for a meal with the family.

Stays here during two trips. Nice place to stay in a small town. Friendly and nice staff members. Small organized bar next to reception with affordable prices.

Love their cold plates..but they advertise them on special for supper but never have any left by supper time.

Need more servers in resturant. Stood for 5 minutes. Not acknowledged at all. Left for a few minutes then back and again nothing. Maybe next time. Should have at least said they would be with me

Had dinner at the restaurant because heard it was excellent food...I was not disappointed...aside from my own cooking it was the best home cooked meal I have had while travelling... absolutely incredible meal..

This is an okay motel, with good parking and everything you need in the room. Adequate space and beds are okay. The staff is lovely, accommodating and friendly. Unfortunately, the restaurant was closed the days were there, so we did not get to try it.

I booked some rooms here in case my town was evacuated due to the forest fire. The staff was exceptional in every respect. I didn’t have to evacuate, and the staff understood my predicament and allowed me to cancel my reservations I never got to stay at the hotel, and am unable to comment on that aspect, but if the hotel is anywhere near the quality of the staff I could certainly recommend it!

We visited the restaurant only - but the premises of the hotel were clean and location easy to find on the main drag. Service at the restaurant was great the waitress brought us a jug of water just for the two of us when she saw we drank ours quickly.Menu had a variety of options and the servings were generous. For sit down family meals in Lewisporte we came to the right place here.
