If you are looking for a comfortable room near the water in Bonavista, look no further.
If you are looking for an authentic bed and breakfast, this is not the place for you! During our stay, we met the owner once to get our keys and that was it! The “breakfast” consists of coffee, yogurt, granola, a banana, and a stale muffin that’s been in a fridge for quite a while. Our simple request to be provided juice and toast for our breakfast was denied, where we were told there was no juice (!) for breakfast and the toast portion of the request was ignored altogether. We were stunned to say the least and often had to get more food each morning elsewhere. A bed and breakfast should provide an authentic Bonavista experience with locals where nice breakfasts can be shared together. I would recommend to remove bed and breakfast from your advertisements as this was very misleading and took away from our expected experience.

Stayed in their Magistrates Suite in the Rowsell House. The rooms were very clean, looked like newly renovated. Complimentary breakfast was brought to the suite in the morning.

I stayed in the Cabot Suite for 2 nights recently and enjoyed it immensely. It was very, very clean. The staff were very friendly. They provided suggestions of where to eat and shop and provided me with a map of the town.
The room was a good size, with a sitting area as well as a bedroom. It is in a restored old home and has been decorated beautifully with the character and charm of the old home intact. Of course, the bathroom was completely new and modern. Spotlessly clean! They leave breakfast outside your door every morning. It was varied and delicious, with coffee, yogurt, fruit, muffin, granola or a warm boiled egg and cheese. There is parking available as well.
The location is really good. The Inn is just a couple of blocks from the water. I had booked a boat tour and was able to just walk down to it. It was also easy to walk from there to many little shops and restaurants.
I would definitely stay at the Russelltown Inn again and I highly recommend it to anyone visiting the Bonavista area.

Quaint B&B in the heart of Bonavista. Check in and out was very smooth using lock boxes in the front hallway. Rooms/bathrooms were clean and modern, but with an authentic feel of a historic building. Breakfast was served to our door at 8am each morning, which we enjoyed at the table in our room before we got our day going. Noise from the other rooms was minimal, which we were pleasantly surprised with due to the age of the house. Not an issue.Easy walking to the town restaurants and shops.Would highly recommend staying here!

We had a great time at the Russelltown Inn. Our room was clean, however the house being old we could hear our neighbors upstairs as if they were with us.Despite everything, the service offered by the hosts as well as the location was perfect. The houses are charming.I would come back and take care to reserve a room on a higher floor.

Magistrate room was nice. Nice light breakfast brought to room every morning between 8-9am. Easy to reach by phone if you needed anything, email didn't work for some reason. Would stay here again.

This was the first time I had ever seen a hotel that had a special pot for hand-drip coffee and a French press, and I was very impressed. The coffee beans were roasted by a local roaster and seemed to be a hotel-specific blend, so they were very delicious. The building and rooms were both quaint and comfortable.

This inn is really nice. We spent two nights there in both buildings and were impressed with their innovation and the more than style of it. It's very clean and comfortable. The pillows could be a bit better but to each his own. We recommend this place.Rooms: Very modern.Walkability: Walkable to most places in Bonavista.

We stayed at the glamping pods – Pod No. 2 to be exact! We loved the whole idea. The room was simple and clean with a beautiful view. The main house is where you have access to the kitchen and a private bathroom and private cabinet to charge essentials as there is no electricity in the pod – just solar powered night lights; you won’t miss the electricity. Despite the evening being chilly, we were warm in our pod and enjoyed the sunset. Our bathroom in the main house was clean and warm to have a reviving morning shower. Would definitely recommend!
