The one star is for harold Sr. In the service dept. I thank Harold jr, and the gm Ed, and everyone else. This was the 4th place I had my car towed to. The first 3 nightmares tried to take advantage of me as they thought I knew of auto repair. I'm not a mechanic, but I grew up with my dad, who was and owned his own shop.I initially called to see if they would take my car as the engine was apart from the last place. He refused to put it together. That's in another sad review.. so, the woman who answered told me that she got permission to take my car in and not charge the full $137 charge for diagnostics since the engine was apart. The day I had my car towed in Harold Sr. A little description of his persona.. rude, nasty and inclined to lie. He was yelling at me in the phone that I had my car towed there and he'll have it towed right back out, because I told him the woman told me I'd not have to pay the diagnostic fee. That was the first initial abuse I suffered from Harold Sr.Because he told me I need these things, but how do you know? My bill was over $4000. I did ask for a couple things to be replaced or fixed. Most of the charges were labor. They guarantee the parts. So they say. My e brake started getting worse in the fall., they just fixed it in June. $415 It doesn't work at all.rn. I took my car there recently. Of course Harold Sr was as rude and crass as usual.I went in thinking about $140, for the diagnostic for her engine light and free e brake fix.I was charged for a spark plug cover and oil change. $316. I just had my oil done this month elsewhere.Harold Sr refuses to fix my ebrake. He's trying to tell me it's connected to the rear brakes and they ask need to be fixed. Over $900.I'm not getting my brakes fixed there. But they will honor the e brake issue as it didn't even 5 months. I will go to the general manager. If he doesn't get them done I'll contact Steet, or Ponte.I wish I never had gone there. I would like to find a mechanic with integrity and honesty. I know cars are expensive but I think repairs should last longer than a few months. And they should honor their policies without being rude or greedy!I hope you all find a good place to go too!

Smaller used car dealership with only about 20 cars. I texted with sales staff for 10 days about a specific car before driving almost an hour and a half to learn that sales was not honest about condition of vehicle. The salesperson didn't know much about the model and less about the vehicle on the lot. They didn't even know how to operate the seats, know the ac didn't work, or that things were broken. There was lots of obvious rust that was covered but it was never disclosed during texting yet they wanted a deposit to "secure" the vehicle. This interaction instilled the stereotypical distrust of car sales individuals.

On April 27th I went in for an inspection and got a price on tires. I was told that they would be 197.20 ea and that they were running a buy 3 get one for 1 dollar sale. I got home and got a call stating that they needed to purchase them and get them in the store before the 7th in order for me to get the deal, and that someone from service would contact me about installation. OK. I was doing the math in my head since she didn't give me the total over the phone (197 x 3 + 1=$590.60) I was told installation and balancing would be extra at $130... $720.60 plus tax...so now we are at around $785.00. Within an hour I got a notice on my phone that said Steet Ponte just deducted $1010 out of my account. So I called and was told....'no, the price is the retail price divided by four x 3 plus $1. Huh? No one said that, the guy from service handed me a sheet that had the tires and I picked out a Goodyear and he said "I'll be right back, I can get a better price on those." He came back and I said "so those tires are $197.20 x 3 plus $130 installation?" He said yes and instructed me to go back to parts and order them. So I called parts back after getting this bill and was told that this was the price and that if I didn't want the tires I would have to pay a restocking fee. I said I would never have ordered them had I known what they intended to charge me. She said they sent the invoice by mail on Friday, the day she ordered the tires which itemized everything. I said I never got the invoice...and STILL never have. After a week I called to find out about the tires and was told "oh, they just came in, I will send you over to service to set up an appointment." She transferred me, but the woman she transferred me to had no record of the tires or my order so she put me on hold to talk to parts again. Parts told me they would figure this out and have service call me back to schedule an appointment. I didn't get a call that day or the next, so I called and got a voicemail and left a message. Still no return call, so I called again two days later, again voicemail and left a message. I called three times during the week and got no call back, no message, nada. I finally called parts back and got their voicemail and left them a message to cancel the order and refund my money - I had had enough and have no confidence in your service personnel whatsoever since I can't even get a call back in a week. Three weeks have now gone by from the time I ordered the tires until today. Last night I finally got a call back from Howard in service (even though my message was left for Parts) who reiterated the same thing and that their receptionist had been out and that she had tried me twice last week. Really? If so, why didn't she leave a message? At any rate I asked AGAIN, why did they have him call me back when I had left the message for parts to cancel my order???? After all this, you STILL charged me the restocking fee....and I am disgusted. I have about 6 hours of time wrapped up in this. Billable time since I am a consultant and this took time away from work. On top of that, I tried to contact them through their web portal at night and was told someone from parts would contact me the next morning and no one ever did. I bought my car there and was really happy with the salesman I dealt with, he did everything just as I asked him to. (Jason I think?) But I will never buy another vehicle or take my car in for service unless there are absolutely no options left.

worst experience ever. I came here for the third time to get my Atlas serviced and even though I had scheduled everything online, mentioned all the things that needed looked at, I was told not all the items could be done today (even though I got there at 11am), regular maintenance, recall and tire change. another issue with the foot activated trunk opening should have been done with a previous recall I was told, and that recall affected everything electronic in the car, but they couldn't do it today. when I expressed my annoyance with this, since I live an hour away, I was told Inhad only ever been here twice before and that I could go back to the southern dealer where I had bought my car! what the what???? I've had some appalling experiences in my life around car dealerships, but this one has got to be the worst getting this openly insulted. don't go there. not only do they apparently do a crappy and insufficient job there (not doing a recall that affects everything electronic) but then being so rude and insulting

Worst experience I have ever had dealing with a car dealership. I canceled the sale because promises made weren't kept by the dealership and it's been a week and still no refund check. No one knows where they're doing at that place. They need to clean house and hire new people.

I went in for an oil change and yearly inspection. They charged me $104!!! $51 for labor! I thought I should take it to my dealership but I was WRONG! IT WAS A COMPLETE RIP OFF. Cheaper to go to oil change store!

We bought a new Tiguan from them last year. When we got it home, we discovered that the roof rails were dented. We contacted them and they repaired them as good as new. Recently we had the car in at the local dealer and we mentioned that the interior lights weren't working correctly. After a lot of searching, it was discovered that a clip that had been replaced by Steet Ponte was causing a short. It wouldn't be covered by warranty so I had to contact Steet Ponte and try to get $417 from them for the repair. They came through with the full amount without arguing, fighting, or threatening etc. They took the right, honest, professional route. Well done! Will probably buy my next car from them.

Purchased 4 cars from this dealer. Used to bring my Jetta in for service but ever since the service manager went over to Toyota the service department hasn't been interested in anything except pushing unnecessary services. If you have to go to a dealer for service head to Nye in Rome. The old regime would have earned 5 stars. They will never get my business here again.

I would never buy another Volkswagen from this dealer ever again.. When I went to trade my 2014 VW Beetle at a local dealer, I was only offered $8500.00!! FOR A 2014!!! (and that was the best offer from 4 local dealers) .. The reason the price offered was so low is because the dealer / service department at Steet VW in Yorkville did a "Potential Odometer Rollback" It wasn't only done once but it was done TWICE!! .. No other dealer could give me a better price caused by the rollback because they had no idea of the actual mileage.. They found this out when they pulled up the Carfax on it.. ICalled the owner and it he said it was a mistake.. TWICE?? Really!! Never offered to do anything about it and it is Against the law.. The owner never called us back.. We had to call him back after 1 1/2 weeks.. All I can recommend is to watch the Carfax on your vehicle from this dealer at all times when it goes in for any service.. GOOD LUCK!!

I leased a vehicle from here a little over a year ago and I am pretty sure the experience keeps getting worse with time. A week after I got it the passenger window broke and when they told me they knew what the problem was and ordered the part to have it fixed, I arrived for the service and was told to wait in the waiting room it would only take a few minutes and they would wash my car when they were finished. I was in the waiting room for about an hour when I went out to see how it was going only to find out that they had my car sitting in the parking lot because they did not have the part (which I was told was in) and no one felt the need to inform me that they could not fix it at that point. The guy then said "oh we were gonna wash your car , hang on it will only take a second" which it did only take a minute considering they just sprayed it down with the hose and gave it to me dripping wet looking worse then when I arrived because now the dirt was just dripping everywhere. When they finally had the part 4 months later after I called them to see what the status was, they arranged the repair and also went for a ride with me since the car did not sound right at all when I was driving. The guy said to me " I don't know what you are worried about because if the transmission goes its under warranty anyway" well maybe since it was a brand new vehicle that I pay a lot for I did not want it to be broken or on the verge of breaking. They also never sent any of the information to my insurance like they said they had so my insurance was taken off of my vehicle and when I called to find out the lady told me she was unsure of if it was sent and did not think she would be able to find it to send it over ( not only was she unhelpful, she was rude). Now after 20,000 miles of just driving to and from work about 15 miles round trip my tires are bald and they want nothing to do with them other then to tell me that I was supposed to rotate them every 5,000 miles. Volkswagen was contacted and was in absolute disbelief, the lady could not have agreed more and a complaint was filed. Needless to say I can't wait to get my new car which will most certainly NEVER be through them again! The things I have heard about this dealership I wish I heard about before I did business with them. Unbelievable that any of this is even allowed.

Honestly, such a garbage place that gets joy from ripping people off especially Tony. Never do business with him. He had my car "cleaned", yet I found gum in the door pocket and old ketchup and mayo packets from the previous owner. He also said he would be able to cover up old scratches from the previous owner yet he failed to do that as well. He ripped me off. NEVER do business with Tony Galvan in your life. I wish there was 0 stars.

Wish there could be a zero stars. Had a "rebuilt" transmission put in in December while in the area during Christmas travels with a one year parts and labor warranty and 6 months later the transmission went bad. It needed a valve body replaced. When called to get approval to have the part replaced at my local dealer here in Louisville KY, only a certain amount of labor would be covered and I would have to pay the rest and Steete would not approve of the new part it needed. The crooked transmission place they use would only send another junk used transmission instead of just replacing the part. It's day three and car still not fixed. BEWARE,BEWARE,BEWARE. Service Manager Alex said they were not willing to solve the problem and pushed all of the problems off on the transmission supplier, myself and my local dealer. Will never have anything services at Steete- Ponte nor will I ever purchase anything from those crooks.
