My friends are still waiting on the car, which has now turned into a "refund." For MONTHS. Multiple trips up there to get the vehicle, being ignored, excuse after excuse as to why it isn't there or ready, or why the owner isn't around. He is out of state now, was the latest we heard. The vehicle was supposed to be fixed after being purchased and there is no vehicle in their driveway to use, or money to be able to purchase another vehicle. Do NOT buy from them.

PLEASE DO NOT make any purchases from this dealer.
Look it up on the Better Business Bureau and see all the horrendous reviews. I'm not sure why Google reviews them at 4 stars.
This dealer is a complete cheat and liar. A family member of mine made a purchase of one of the cars. They test drove it and everything. Then, there was an "issue" with the car that had to be fixed before they could drop it off. After an extensive amount of time waiting and getting texts (no phone calls) saying that they would get it "the next day" or "it'll be ready by next week," they still have not gotten the car, or received a refund of the $6,000 they put down on it.
The person they spoke to repeatedly would have excuses like traveling or fake family emergencies. They even drove down to the location to check the car and take it then but no one was there at all and they avoided all phone calls.
They have now filed a police report and are seeking legal counsel on getting their money back. They're also trying to spread the word so that this doesn't happen to anyone else.
Again, please don't make any purchases from this dealership.

ZERO stars. Dealership took money, didn’t provide the vehicle, and will not give refund for one of my family members. DO NOT use this dealership. Having to get legal involved. Absolute trash.

If I could give zero stars I would . When I tell you it’s been 9 months of nothing short of a run around . I inquired about a vehicle he still has listed for sale . He received my $3500 deposit , two days later I was told the car would be ready . NO vehicle . Then after daily correspondence about it I was told that he couldn’t get the light off to pass a NYS test , however he would put me into another vehicle . I then got approved by a bank and signed the purchase agreement . However he told me the car would be ready once again the next day ..and of course not only did I NOT receive the car after a continuous run around or even the deposit back , he kept the amount of money financed by the loan company . He’s absolutely undoubtedly a scammer . I’ve called the bank as well as made a DMV report , FTC report as well as filed with the attorney general . Someone really needs to be made aware of what he’s got going on . Not to mention if I didn’t live 3 hours away I would of by now been there to personally figure it out myself ! He makes buying a vehicle an absolute nightmare . Do NOT waste your energy or money with these people .

I purchased an Infinity QX 80 from LaClairs in June of 2023, I had to wait until late August of 2023 to pick up my vehicle, they had hundreds of excuses on why the vehicle was not ready, but they were extremely quick to take my money. It gets worse, after picking up the vehicle, I've had nothing but problems, and issues with the vehicle, The Engine Light came on the next day. They never fixed the issue. I purchased an Extended warranty through AUL in which they did not honor none off the repair work needed to get serviced. AUL stated that these issues were issues before you purchased the vehicle. The motor is blown in the vehicle, The timing chain is broken, and the Ininifity is not driveable at all. They sold me LEMON, These very crookeed people, They are Con Artists who sells Junk for Vehicles and do not honor there word not on bit. DO NOT BUY FROM THEM.

Buyer BEWARE! This business sold a truck to an 18 year old. First excitement of thier own auto loan instantly gone with everything that followed. Parts that were discussed being fixed at sale not fixed. Only partially paid for upon threat of action. Registeation NEVER filed causing family insurance to almost be cancelled. Then to top it off yet another notice from DMV.. their check bounced for the registration now this young man is on the hook for alllll the fees that go with that under threat of suspension. I'm not sure low class is an accurate description for this business. Underhanded, deceitful, untrustworthy. I have many more!

So it was my first time buying a used car so I didn’t know how to go about it. I bought a 2014 bmw 740xli for 22k. After a week of bringing it home the check engine light came on. I tried getting ahold of them about it and never got a response. Mind you they have it inspected before they let you take it which is a whole other story about how it managed to pass with the inside wall of the tire was almost blown out. I’ve seen some post on here saying they are great at resolving issues so I’m reaching out on here asking if you can resolve my issue with the car. Bmw says it’s 3800 to fix the engine light. I barely drive it because I wanted to keep it very nice and low miles but now I can’t drive it at all due to check engine light flashing . Since I’ve got it off you guys I’ve only put 8k on it in two years cause like I said before I barely drive it. Would you guys be able to resolve the issue or am I screwed???

Before you buy here, do yourself a favor and check out the BBB profile. The theme there is true. First you buy. Then a “problem” with the vehicle that doesn’t get resolved, then he continues to make excuses and not refund anything, all the while apologizing (always via text- they won’t take your call), and promising to “settle up” later. But he doesn’t. Hey leclaires, you still have time to honor your word and fix this. Do it, and I’ll post on here that you did.

RUN from this dealership!!!
I purchased a new vehicle from them on April 17th, two weeks later he made a car payment against my old loan for the vehicle that I had traded in. The bank notified me because it was $1.95 short. He said that he had mailed them a check which disappeared, so he sent another one that cleared the loan but was rejected by his bank when it was presented for payment.
He has now had my personal check, the bank's check and my trade in for over 95 days and now my old bank is threatening to repo my trade in.
On top of that, the brakes on the car that I purchased need replacing and you can't open the hood because the latch is broken.
The owner say his salesman is sick of taking complaints.....

Buyer Beware: A Cautionary Tale at LaClair's Auto Dealership
Zero Star Review!!!
*From the dealer's response, it's apparent that he lacks genuine business judgement, favoring gaslighting tactics over accountability whenever negative feedback about his service is voiced. He shuns responsibility for his actions, his team's performance, and the quality of the outsourced facilities he continues to employ. Moreover, the claim of having 400 reviews is inaccurate, as there are only 10, casting further doubt on his credibility and attention to detail.*
After an unsettling experience with LaClair's Auto Dealership, I feel compelled to share my story to inform potential buyers. While I approached this business with the usual expectations of professionalism and honesty, my journey from purchase to possession of my vehicle was fraught with issues that prospective customers should be aware of.
Timeline -
The Purchase Process: My ordeal began smoothly with the initial vehicle purchase, which I paid for in full, anticipating a straightforward transaction. However, the delivery of my vehicle was delayed by an astonishing five weeks. This delay occurred despite my repeated attempts to communicate with the dealership, efforts I made reluctantly as I prefer not to incessantly contact businesses. The necessity for such persistence, in my view, indicates a concerning lack of respect for customer time and investment.
Post-Purchase Silence: Post-delivery, the vehicle required immediate repairs, a situation I had hoped to clarify with the dealership. Unfortunately, my attempts to discuss these necessary repairs were met with what can only be described as radio silence— a stark contrast to the communication I had before completing the payment.
Financial Inconsistencies: Adding to the distress, the dealership failed to uphold its financial responsibilities, notably canceling a check intended for DMV registration fees—a cost that was supposedly covered in the initial purchase. This action not only inconvenienced me but also reflected poorly on the dealership's reliability and trustworthiness.
Evolving Stories: Throughout my interactions, I encountered multiple instances where stories and explanations shifted, further eroding my trust in this establishment. Such inconsistencies, coupled with the overall lack of transparency and accountability, paint a concerning picture of the business practices at LaClair's Auto Dealership.
Conclusion: While it's not my intention to unduly hinder any business's ability to operate, honesty, integrity, and customer respect are non-negotiable standards that LaClair's Auto Dealership has, in my experience, failed to meet. To those considering this dealership for their next vehicle purchase, I urge caution and recommend exploring other options. Your peace of mind, time, and financial investment are precious and should be treated as such by any reputable business.
***Questionable Online Reviews: In seeking to understand more about the dealership and its practices, I noticed a pattern in the online reviews that potential buyers might find worrisome. Many of the positive reviews appear to be from accounts with very few other reviews – sometimes only one or two. This contrasts starkly with the detailed and numerous reviews from dissatisfied customers, who seem to have a more established history of reviewing on the platform. This discrepancy raises questions about the authenticity of the dealership's positive online reputation. While it's not uncommon for businesses to encourage reviews from satisfied customers, the stark difference in reviewer profiles suggests the possibility of manipulated reviews, whether through the creation of accounts or soliciting positive feedback from close associates. Such practices, if true, would be consistent with the lack of transparency and honesty I exper
