Finally, a pet grooming facility that delivers quality services ! When we delivered our Standard Poodle, Grayson, to their shop, he looked more like a sheep than a dog! Previous "groomers" had done so much damage to his coat that is required time to grow out in preparation for proper grooming. We were greeted by friendly, helpful staff who did everything possible to make both Grayson and us comfortable and secure in the knowledge that "our boy" was in capable, caring hands. Leslie, who did the grooming, is a "pro" and our "sheep poodle" is now beautifully groomed with a cool, summer Country Cut . Thank you all. We already have our next appointment !!!!!! Easy location. Grooming usually about 2 - 2.5 hrs. My shih tzu always looks handsome and happy. Highly recommend.

I rarely go to this business other than to get my labs' nails cut. I called the other day and was told to call back later. I did. No answer. When I've gone in the past, same attitude. As if they are doing me a favor by taking my money. I won't be back.

We tried taking our sharpei mix there (who obviously has skin issues because of his breed) and they were able to fit him in last minute which was great. However, he is not used to being in a crate and was howling after his bath. They clearly do not know how or want to deal with barking dogs. They kept calling asking us to come RIGHT AWAY. You should not be in business if you cannot deal with all types of dogs and personalities. Dogs bark and howl. It’s what they do. Anyway since they are one of the few grooming salons in the area and in a good location, we decided to give them another chance. We probably called 4-5 times with promises of call backs and no one ever called back. Oh well!

Everyone at Yorktown Pet Grooming is welcoming and friendly. They take the time to explain things I could do myself at home.
