Wonderful shop filled with beautiful hand made wool products from the alpacas right there on the farm. Great gift ideas and the farm tour is so fun and interesting. The alpacas, ponies and donkeys are cuteeeeee and treated very well.
Farm tours and store hours by appointment only. Faraway Farm is home to a colorful herd of alpacas, bred for their luxuriously soft fleece. The farm store, located inside a renovated barn, offers homegrown yarn, beautiful alpaca garments, ultra-sofa throws, and whimsical handmade toys. Just 40 miles north of New York City, the farm is often chosen as a location by fashion magazines, wedding photographers, theater companies, television shows and independent photographers. Leda and Steve also host educational tours, workshops and seminars throughout the year.
