I do my banking at the Whitestone branch but it doesn't come up in the search. This bank is the absolute worst and really deserves ZERO stars. My recommendation to anyone would be, do not do business with this bank. I recently sent emails to my banker there and there was no response until after they returned from their vacation. No alert email directing me to a another banker so I could address my concerns was sent back to me for over a week. Highly unprofessional. About 2 months ago I was a victim of check fraud. The bank paid out a large sum of money. They have not credited my account with the amount fraudulently taken from me. Furthermore they say they will not return my money until they finish their investigation which can take up to 90 days.

BrioDirect, which is powered by Webster Bank, is aboslutely horrible. after verifying my name, address, last 4 of social and date of birth, she got into my account. I told her I needed my number change. She said "we have to do more identity verification for that". I said "What...my blood type? who I have slept with in the last 20 years?" No...I gave you MORE than enough to change my number. Fidelity, Communitywide Federal CU, Bank of America, Chase, and every other bank I have do NOT do this mess. I closed my account and will never recommend anyone to BrioDirect ever again.

I was just at Webster bank and the branch manager Eileen Victory is the nicest person and she did such a great job of notarizing so many of our documents. I would open all my accounts at Webster specially at this branch because Of Eileen and Vito

I recently entered the bank and the lovely bank clerk knew a lot more about what’s going on then the person in the cubicle. Bank clerk actually had to tell the person in the cubicle what steps to take. Those bank clerks are the best!

Where other banks are failing in customer service Webster Bank's Senior Universal Banker Katherine Leandry goes that extra mile to ensure customer satisfaction and exceed customer's expectations. She is extremely knowledgeable, friendly and respectful to all of the customers she deals with. She gives you her full attention and care so that you don't feel like you are dealing with a robot, automated ATM or that no care attitude that you get from most banks. Webster Bank should be proud of this employee and give recognition to Katherine Leandry for all that she does for your bank and your customers! Keep up the great work Katherine, you're the best!

The proximity of this branch to me is one of the reasons I haven't dumped Webster after moving to New York...I grew up in Connecticut, and Webster is a Connecticut-based bank, and branches around here are obviously few and far between so it's not like I can visit their ATM on a daily basis. I rarely need to go between mobile check deposit and taking cashback from various merchants rather than eating ATM fees, but when I have a bunch of cash to deposit or something, it's helpful that the ATM is only 15 minutes away. (I see other people claiming they refund other bank's ATM fees, I need to inquire about this because AFAIK it's not a part of my account...LAME) Since I've moved, I've entertained the thought of switching banks for my primary checking account - but then I end up having to call them for some sort of customer service issue, and am reminded why I like them so much. They're always helpful and there's rarely more than a 5 minute wait to get a hold of a human being that actually is in Connecticut rather than some far off call center. I strongly doubt Chase would be that good, and I know from experience Bank of America is absolutely atrocious. I really wish they'd support Android Pay with their debit cards, they used to and then stopped...meanwhile maintaining Apple Pay compatibility (and I was making NFC payments long before it was a twinkle in the corpse of Steve Jobs' eye) but they finally made some homebrew app - which is annoying since sometimes I want to use a different card in Android Pay, and it's annoying to force Android Pay to default over Webster Pay...but I appreciate the fact that they finally did something about this after hounding them for a solid year. Overall I enjoy how Webster has big bank features while maintaining small bank customer service skills, which is why I've been a customer for 12 years and counting after a brief break to big bad BofA waters (ugh.)

a very friendly small chain bank that is starting to pop up in the westchester county area . i opened an account at the yonkers branch on central ave and was treated like a king with professional and courtesy that was the norm at many banks back in the day . it's a fairly small bank but has all the services as the big boys like citibank , chase, td bank, etc. the process was quick and easy to open an account and i will give this bank company a chance . the banking app is a cool way to pay bills and deposit checks and more. the fees are better then other banks and no extra charge for using other banks atms. 4.5 stars on my yelp meter .
