“Just bought a wonderful tea cart. Christina was lovely. Friendly, helpful, willing to haggle a bit over price too! A nice variety of items! Couldn’t be happier.”

163 E 111th St, New York“Love this place, so happy I found it and that it’s in my neighborhood! It’s quickly become part of my weekend ritual (donating, picking up some great finds and my fave challenge of bringing in plastic bottles!) and I can’t stop telling friends about it. Thanks to all the staff for keeping it running ?”
“Love this place. Lots of super-cheap clothes. My advice on how to shop is to make three or four rounds just to make sure you didn't miss anything. Friendly staff, good vibes here. Also, I thought it worth adding that I've been to plenty of bigger, chain resale shops in NY and NJ like Unique, 2nd Ave Thrift, and this place is better. It's clean, rotates stock, and is far more pleasant.”
10:30AM - 7PM
208 Main St, Little Ferry“PROS: The staff is nice, prices are good, and the variety is plentiful. They have everything under the sun here. they have a good size parking lot and the hours are good CONS: They only accept cash, everything looks messy inside, and nothing is priced. you have to ask them what each item is worth OVERALL: Not really my go-to place after coming here. But if you're in the area, might as well stop in”
“I normally donate tons of expensive stuff here and the ladies working there are super nice. Today though (12/26/2023), there was a white older woman who was a witch! Mean and rude! I have never seen her there before but I hope to never see her again. If she is volunteering, she should just stay home and avoid working with people since she doesn't seem to know what customer friendly means. Super cranky and horrible attitude!”
“This shop is a hidden gem!! I went to four other thrift stores before stumbling into this gold mine! I bought a beautiful pair of lamps, plus two sets of side tables I didn't know I was looking for until I saw them! They have high quality merchandise that is reasonably priced! The energy was sweet and welcoming! I love it there!”
11:30AM - 7PM
79 W Palisade Ave, Englewood“I love this place! I’ve been here a few times now and there’s always new and great quality clothing! The prices are good and the workers are so sweet :) 10/10 would recommend and tell your friends!!!”
“Great selection of clothing, home goods, and other miscellaneous items. They started to carry plants as well. Def a gem in the neighborhood with affordable prices!”
10AM - 6PM
110 E 153rd St, Bronx“I have been going to this place for a very long time and there have been a lot of good managers who have come and gone but the current one David is one of the nicest I have ever met. He is a professional at what he does. He is a hard worker, he treats the staff nicely and his customer service is impeccable. Thank you David for making shopping at Thriftland a more pleasant experience. The store is one of the best thrift stores in the Bronx. It’s clean and has better quality goods and the staff are friendly as well.”
“PROS: The people in here are nice and it's very clean and organized. they have many sections to choose from that range for people of all ages. CONS: They only accept cash up to $25 and parking is limited to street parking. It's also cramped inside overall: if you were in the area you should stop on in. Their prices are low for some items and high for others, just depending on what you're looking for as well”
“Sweet little authentic thrift store. Helpful, kind staff.Truly a thrift store, not like the corporate stores pretending to be thrift stores, looking at you Goodwill.”
10AM - 7PM
2359 Jerome Ave, Bronx“There is a young man who is the worst. I asked him twice about something and he didn't answer me and then he answered me in Spanish. I mean, he did know the language. My clothes fell to the floor and he left the store. He didn't sell me. He told me the devil. It doesn't exist and he doesn't care if I report this way, he offended me and yelled at me in front of everyone.”
10AM - 6PM
4109 Park Ave, Bronx“Unfortunately a lot of items don't have price tag, it seems a recurrent issue from certain customers that frequent this location that remove the price tags in order to exchange them with a lower price tag. I hope Mgmt. can identify the culprits, it makes the entire shopping experience somewhat dull, from not purchasing the item or pay a full price when this could have been a discounted item. I suggest them to stapple item better and identify clients that are persisting with these practices. Overall things are organized, good illumination.”
“I was just there yesterday and found all of the volunteers to be friendly and helpful so not sure what other people are talking about.Good selection of clothes, shoes, housewares and decorative items.Yes, there are cat cages in the store, but they were clean and the animals were being well looked after.”
10AM - 5:15PM
1934 Jerome Ave, Bronx“A very good store where you can find super cheap clothes with labels, of course there are used clothes but by searching you may be surprised at how beautiful they are there.”
“Easy access for a worthy cause.
All that ‘stuff’ you accumulated or saved for ‘some day I’ll need/use it”…Goidwill will make sure someone does!
Head into your closets and store rooms and drop it off where it can do someone some good.”
“I've been a customer and consignor for many years. The owner knows her customers and due to the size of the shop she must be selective. Always find a treasure when I go ?46 years in business says it all!”
10AM - 7PM
562 North Ave, New Rochelle“Very large selection of clothing. Mostly reasonably priced. Some good brands. I found clothing that I needed for my kids' costumes for a play here, after I made some minor adjustments. Not as good of a selection on the home goods side.”
“Very friendly volunteers working here! I found designer clothing...with unbeatable prices!! PLUS, you're supporting tons of local charities the NCJW support! Something new every time I visit!”
10AM - 6PM
1294 Southern Blvd, Bronx“This is a donation center where you can leave your donations . The store itself is a typical Salvation Army store where what you find depends on what is in stock on that day. I enjoy making donations of my gently used items.”
“Although I have emphathy for the inconvenience & frustration for lack of consistency w/store hours...the owner has been sick, in the hospital & recouping from a broken foot! Also, the loss of her sweetmother (reg customers know who I'm speaking of), & another very unexpected death in the family, all in the past year +/- have been hard for her. Dare I suggest you call 1st, just to verify her open hours. Just a thought. I'm just saying...?”
11AM - 7PM
2569 Broadway, New York“I enjoy the search of finding treasures. Home works offers a collective selection of things. I usually find vintage fashion. On my way out, I stop to Organized my buys, when I noticed Miles Davis, Kind of Blue CD. JUST WAITING FOR ME!”
10AM - 8PM
218 W 234th St, Bronx“You want it, it’s probably here in some form. Most prices are reasonable or cheap. It’s a true New York experience with no-nonsense hustle bustle. The best thing is dropping off all my unwanted items at the back donation door.”
8AM - 10PM
1081 Ogden Ave, Bronx“One of the Best Discount Stores W/Hundreds of Specials. Management and Employees are Moterately Sociable and Fair. Family Dollar is MY Go-to Store...Especially on Saturdays!”
“this is my favorite thrift store in the area, i've been coming here for years now seeing as it's so close to my college. the ladies that work here are always kind in my experience. they take card and cash, and offer help and bags after checkout consistently! i feel like i always leave either with at least one item i love, or at the very least in a better mood.”
