The Fenty beauty section is amazing!! But some of the items they had in stock online, they actually didn't. Not sure what everyone's talking about when they say the customer service is bad because as soon as I walked through the door I was greeted. The door was unbelievable heavy and difficult to open. But the customer service was great. The store was very clean and I loved the way it was set up.

It was alright, had a great variety of products. Unfortunately, there were products smeared everywhere making the exhibit look disgusting.

So how did this start? I saw a TikTok video Fenty using makeup - had to try it. I ordered the items, they arrived but when I put it on my lip - it did not look right I happen to be going to Ridge Hill to the Apple Store so I popped into Sephora met the most lovely woman, Allyssa. Her customer service was terrific. There wasn't a hard push. There was never the hard sell. She did not overdo my make up. She did not overdo the sell. She was kind - she was warm. She was gracious. She was knowledgeable, and more importantly she got the job done. I made a Purchase - I'm happy and now I'm leaving a review. go see Allyssa in Yonkers. Tell her I sent you!

The micro aggression towards women of color is sickening ! Women of color are your number one consumer. Treat us with respect, give us space when we’re shopping, do not dragon breath on us, follow us around your store. It’s uncomfortable and disrespectful. Change your policies and training for better customer service.

Oooh! Finally, I get to say what crooks this company is full of! Had a coupon and returns, one of which was an even exchange. Instead of doing an exchange, they did a refund and charged the higher price for the items I was trying to exchange for. I had 1250 points and zeroed them out when I got home cause I'm never shopping there again. Buyer beware!

For some time now I have avoided visiting any Sephora locations in person for my purchases due to the poor customer service I have received in the past and today was just a reminder of that. I am not sure what the company’s process is for hiring its associates but they never fail to be very rude. This morning I arrived at the 163 Market St location in Ridgehill, at around 10:45AM not aware that they pushed back their opening time to 11AM for New Year’s Eve. When I attempted to open the door to the store and realized it was locked at least 3 of the associates inside saw me and instead of one of them walking up and simply explaining that the store didn’t open for another 15 minutes they were yelling from where they were standing inside, that they were closed. At least another 5 women ended up standing outside, like myself, waiting for the store to open and a couple of women came up and left when realizing the store was still closed. After standing out there for 15 minutes an associate, Alyssa (name she gave me), opened the doors with a grimace on her face as she let us all in. She did not greet any of us and once the last woman entered I went to show her my email for product pick up and with an attitude she said give me a minute, wait by the pick-up stand. She proceeded to go behind the register, made small talk with another employee, and took her time walking back to me to scan my email barcode. Without another word she walked away and after a couple of minutes she returned with my order and her attitude, handed it to me, and proceeded to walk away, at which point I kindly asked her name as she was still in earshot. She gave me her name, I thanked her and left. Given that it’s the holidays and frankly that they are in a customer service position, it would be expected that the associates working the floor would have better attitudes than they do but I suppose expecting the bare minimum is too much. I will not be returning to this location again.

I was pretty shocked and disgusted by a recent visit to return some merchandise. The cashier who assisted me (Nicki, 680) was incredibly rude and disrespectful. I had a receipt for the items (which were unopened) and was well within the time frame for returns and all within the refund policy. The cashier acted as if I was taking money out of her own pocket - asking me why I was returning (after explaining) and why these items. At one point, she flat out refused a second transaction from a different order (a gift mind you, linked to another account) and said something to the effect "I am not going to help you anymore, step aside". I was incredibly flustered and upset by the whole experience, and I wonder if it was because I am a POC and English is my second language. Given Sephora's history, this would not surprise me. In any event, I left there flustered at the interaction with this Nicki person, and went to the Sephora in Palisades where they were helpful and there was no issue.I caution anyone going to be ready for a lack of customer service and adversarial staff.UPDATE: Sephora replied below and even after I emailed them they provided NO resolution. Just further waste of time which is aggravating. If at all possible, purchase elsewhere or purchase online. Awful customer service both in store and at the corporate level.

Extremely DISAPPOINTED with the associate, Millie! She deliberately treated certain customers better than the other. Not only was she PREJUDICE but also condescending when i inquired about my birthday gift; she started yelling about receiving points and not elaborating on it. Furthermore, i observed her behavior with the customer before and after me and the only difference was that they were white and not south asian or brown skinned like me. It’s disturbing when a fellow poc is racist towards fellow minorities or having any pre-conceived notions as an employee. I won’t return to this location because all the employees seem to help based on their preferences and prejudices.

Rude people working here. When it was time to check out the lady in the cashier didn't even offer my free birthday gift. I had to ask her "don't I get a bday gift?" Which she then complied. This is definitely the most unfriendly Sephora I've ever been too.

Dirty store and not a single salesperson asked me if I needed something. Walked around for 15 minutes and left. Was totally ignored. Avoid this location.

I'm totally smitten with this Sephora! First off, this place is not just big; it's colossal! Now, here's the real game-changer – the clerks here wield some serious tech magic. They've got this app on their phones that they whip out, hold up to your face, and voilà, you get an exact match of the makeup color that's a perfect fit for your skin. And that's not even the best part! You can snag yourself an appointment to have your makeup done by one of the pros. Trust me, it's like a VIP treatment for your face. The professionals here know their stuff, and they'll have you strutting out feeling like a million bucks. This experience was top-notch, and I can't recommend it enough. Whether you're a beauty aficionado or just dipping your toes into the makeup world, Sephora is the place to be. They've got the space, the tech, and the expertise to make your beauty journey an absolute delight. Two thumbs up, Sephora!
