I tried to call 10 times and emailed to try to schedule a viewing of apartments. These people are the worst and Do Not return my emails or calls. How do you expect to get new tenants if you never answer the phone and ALL calls are forwarding to an answering service?

Everything is awful here! Mangement will not answer or respond to any of your requests. The parking garage where your car is supposed to be kept "safe" is a place for your car to be DESTROYED! rust leaks everywhere in this poorly constructed building. I feel for the poor people who bought apartments here. They have been charging full price for amenities that are not even up and running yet! Also your guests are at risk of being towed and booted with their ridiculous rules and regulations. I would stay far away! this place is the absolute WORST! STAY AWAY ! THERE ARE MUCH BETTER APARTMENTS IN THE AREA!

Dont even bother applying - all they do is give you a run around… chasing the agent around for responses to messages & calls, you can have all the income & credit & they will still not approve you, seems like they have some “perfect tenant” they are searching for

We lived here for a year and I really recommend that you look elsewhere. I couldn't recommend this building to anyone. While it's a great location, the building is modern, and the prices are reasonable, everything else is quite awful. We had constant issues with management in repairing anything. Our freezer was broken (was unusable) and was leaking for 6 weeks and we couldn't get them to send someone to repair it. We called and emailed multiple times per week and we were just ignored or told someone was coming and no one ever did. We had constant issues with our A/C over the summer months. The A/C repair people told us that the building accidentally built the holes to store the A/C too small and only a specific A/C could fit in there that was no longer being made so although the building is fairly new, the A/C units were bought used and very old. You'll see the A/C repair people parked in front every day over the summer repairing different units. The A/C repair people must have visited our apartment 10 times over a few months. At one point, it was completely out and I was told no one could come for 4 days. My daughters were only 4 months old at the time and it was 90 degrees outside. There were also issues with the heat in the winter. They turned our heat off at one point for 48 hours and it was 40 degrees outside. I reported them to the Yonkers DOH because this is actually illegal and they provided us with one space heater due to my complaint. The other appliances are also very cheaply made. The cabinets would peel, there was mold in the bathroom since no ventilation, door knob handles would just fall off etc. even though this is a new building! The people who live here are also awful. We have twin babies and they would complain about their crying leaving us threatening notes on our front door or banging on our walls. Meanwhile, many of our neighbors would blast music at all times of the day and night. It also smelled of marijuana on our floor, the parking garage floor, and in the lobby floor almost daily. I would not recommend living here with children. During the height of the pandemic, the people who worked here in the front desk also refused to wear masks or they were on their chin. You can also never get ahold of Eagle Rock Management in case of an emergency. If you rent, the supper (Oliver) won't help you as he only helps owners. You have to go through Eagle Rock Management which only operates during business hours if you can get ahold of them then. Natalie never picks up her phone and her response rate to emails and voice messages is about 5%. We also had many packages lost and packages we left for outgoing mail stolen. The front desk staff is very disorganized with packages. I'd also recommend paying very close attention to your charges. They double charged us last year for rent and it took a couple of months to get it sorted out. Now on move out, they charged $400 in cleaning fees from my security deposit although I had a professional cleaner clean the apartment (but apparently it doesn't matter since they charge this to everyone so why did they tell me I had to have it cleaned on my end before move out?). I am very happy that we moved out of The Monarch.

I found an apartment I liked in their building, and after almost a week of them asking crazy requests for things that were not needed(buying time) everything was agreed on. The management emailed back after every request was completed and said that they have a better offer from someone else and wanted more money out of me. Keep in mind they asked me for an entire years rent upfront which i was ready to pay.
Overall, run by a deceiving management that wont hold true to any promise they make. Stray away from this property.
