They were so very kind and extremely patient... it took 3 days to port out of the GARBAGE COMPANY I was with (DO NOT GO TO Boost Infinite... they are not Boost Mobile, but they are connected some how, but separate at the same time ~confusing ¿¿).. But all the staff at Metro by T-mobile atMain Street Yonkers NY.. Were Absolutely Wonderful to me... the frustration from my old company was just unbelievable BUT THEY HANDLED IT ALL PERFECTLY...Thank You.. I'm a Happy Customer ?

I went to this store to go for an unlimited plan and android phone after a technical issue with my Virgin mobile account made it impossible to keep my telephone number. They were running a special on the LG Optimus for $99 which was just barely doable on my meager income, but still a good price, so I went for it. The bald, goateed guy behind the counter who didn't have the professionalism to give his name or a business card sold it to me and ported my number over, and was nice as pie about it at the time and assured me that I had 30 days and 3 hours talk time to bring it back if the service didn't work out. Which was a lie, because on the paperwork it stated that I only had 7 days to return it if I was unsatisfied, but I didn't notice while I was in the store (big mistake that would haunt me later). Within a day, the phone was freezing up during internet and text messaging. Then it started freezing up, vibrating and shutting it self off. Then shut itself off in the middle of a phone conversation. Text messages and voicemails would be delivered days after they were sent. I missed out on a job opportunity as a result. The week I bought the phone, I had to work 7 days that week and could not get back to the store in that time frame even if I had realized I only had 7 days. So I brought it back a couple of weeks later when I was able to get there....it was not conveniently located to my home or job. Same guy behind the counter, but his demeanor was quite different. He said the phone was freezing up because it had "too many apps running at once", whipped it out of my hands, did something to it and said to just close the running apps when that happened. I asked him to show me how to do that and he refused and said to just go into the settings and I would know what to do. Well, I figured it out and guess what? Did not solve the problem. I went back again and he was even nastier, reminding me that I only had 7 days to return the phone and that he was not going to take it back, fixi it, replace it or anything. I told him we would see what the BBB had to say about that. Really? You sell me a bad phone, give me the wrong information, and then refuse to make good on it? I called the corporate office number and complained. They tried resetting it and said they could not do anything about the poor customer service at the store, but advised me to go to the corporate store if the problem persisted and gave me the address. Since the problem persisted I did go to the corporate store. The tech there was much nicer, however, he informed me that he could not do anyghing unless the phone did what I was saying it did in front of him. Of course, the phone behaved in the store since it would only randomly do this, so I was out of luck there too. He did also try to reset the phone to see if it would help, but it did not remedy the problem. I ended up putting in a claim with LG directly, where I had to pay to ship it to their repair center in California and go without a phone for the 7-10 business days it would take for them to receive, repair and send it back to me. I finally gave up and went into a contract with Verizon since I could not afford to buy another phone. I am in a 2 year contract and paying more than I can afford to for my service, but at least they sold me a working phone and I am getting good service. However, I am still out the $99 plus taxes and start up fees that I paid for the Metro PCS phone. I filed my complaint against them with the BBB and they have refused to respond. Still in limbo. Morale of the story....if it sounds too good to be true, it probably is. I could understand only having 7 days to return the phone if the service isn't working for you, but to sell someone a defective phone and then refuse to make good on it in 30 days, is inexcuseable. I believe this nasty j*** sold me a phone that someone else probably returned and just resold it instead of sending it back to the manufacturer. And the company itself also failed to pr

So yes Metro PCS is already a cheap and affordable phone company but it doesn't mean they should hire cheap people. If you would like to witness the most ghetto girls in any Metro PCS store, please come to this location. I came to purchase a phone, and some young worker did not want to get up and help me. I was getting frustrated and come to find out she had no shoes on and walked over with unmatching socks to help me. I came another time to pay my phone bill here, and another girl was the rudest nastiest girl I have ever met. She had running mascara and eyeliner on that dried on her face, depicting that she just cried for a few hours before I walked in. So on top of her having a bad day, she just took it all out on me. Never in my life will I go back here. And I hope the owner knows that his/her workers are not dependable.
