I had an incredibly frustrating experience at Market, an Irish food store, today. It seems that they have a complete disregard for proper pricing and transparency. To start with, none of the items in the store had prices on them, which immediately raised concerns. When I attempted to purchase a packet of potato crisps, I was shocked to be charged three dollars for it. I questioned the store owner about the price, asking why he didn't have prices displayed for all items. Instead of providing a satisfactory answer, he simply shrugged and insisted that three dollars was the correct price. This lack of accountability and refusal to address my concerns left me feeling unheard and dissatisfied. The ordeal continued when I tried to purchase two small bags of items. To my disbelief, the store owner attempted to charge me a staggering $170! It was evident that this was an outrageous overcharge, and it became clear that caution is necessary when buying from this store.Overall, I was thoroughly disappointed with my experience at Market. The absence of clear pricing, coupled with attempts to overcharge customers, demonstrates a clear lack of integrity and respect for consumers. I strongly advise potential customers to be cautious and vigilant to avoid being taken advantage of by this store.

This guy is an absolute thief!!! There's no prices posted on the products, he charges you 4% for cc payments and says there's no charge for debit payments, BUT THERE IS!! Avoid at all costs and give your business to decent people in the local community.

Bought chocolate from here (4 pack of Wispa) and it was all discolored and tasted terrible. Be careful what you buy. After calling the store the store keeper proceeded to tell me that I caused the problem. After spending a lot of money bringing back chocolate to family in Boston - it was hard to believe the go to response was to blame the customer.

Small quarters, old produce, high prices, in the heart of Irish territory on McLean Ave in Yonkers. It's convenient though, for non-expired offerings.
