Tax preparer Katrina Fletch
My mother and I went in today. I have a very simple tax form, no dependants and not married with one source of income. I was charged $235 for my tax prep. My mother had 3 different tax forms and was charged $235 as well. $470 in prep and we didnt even sit with this lady and hour for both of us. Very overpriced for minimal and mediocre service. Our tax preparer was also very rude to my elderly mother. She gave off a very noticeable negative vibe any time my mother asked a question and then responded like my mother was bothering her her with these questions. Several times my mom had to ask the lady to speak up because my mom has very bad hearing and once again it seemed like this bothered the tax preparer and she was annoyed with that. This was the 1st and last time my mother had I will ever use any H&R Block. You really need to retrain your employee in customer service and empathy when dealing with the elderly.

Went here for years but not anymore…representative was weirdly condescending to me last year and I don’t understand why you’d ever speak to a client like that. I understand I’m young but don’t treat me like a child…treat me respectfully like every other customer who is dropping $300-$400! Also had absolutely NO empathy when I temporarily cancelled out my appointment due to losing my job…that unfortunately sealed the deal of me switching away from this location.

Filed my taxes here with Harry and he made a mistake. Years later he is retired and I am now being audited. I was told by their staff that there is nothing they can do. He made a mistake that now costs me $500. That is unacceptable. DO NOT RECOMMEND. I went in to ask questions and they were all very like welp nothing we can do. No help at all

This place is great! I’ve been coming here for over two years. They have always completed my taxes correctly. Very friendly people too. They are the down to business kind. I like that. This year Gerard Wilson completed my taxes and he was very well informed and highly professional. He even gave me great advice on completing my W4. He crunched a lot of numbers, looked up several forms of info, and therefore gave me educated advice that I appreciated tremendously. Thank you!
