“Went here a couple of days ago with several coins and watches. Staff were very professional. Made me a couple of offers—which were fair—but below what in wanted.I left. Staff were great. No pressure to sell. Gave me a business card and said if I changed my mind or had other items to sell, I should contact them.Honest professional people running a legitimate business.A++++”

“An absolutely PEAR of an antique store in Pear River. Went on October 3, 2024. The owner was also such a wonderful human being, with the kindest smile, welcoming atmosphere and disposition. His store is packed full to the brim with treasures one could tell he genuinely loves. His passion for antiques and old things is evident. From artwork, pottery, toys, books, sculptures, kitchenware, silver, to military items and more, this antique store will surely have a lovely treasure for everyone to enjoy. Please go and see it for yourself! I HIGHLY recommended and cannot wait to be back.”

“I love playing at this store, the owners are friendly and the crowd is always lively here, it doesn’t stink and there’s a lot of space and options for TCG bling. They offer store credit for prizes that can be used for packs or other TCG bling like dice playmats and deckboxes, and u get participation points/ store credit for entering in commander nights. That’s the best part. I’ve never done trade ins so I can’t rate that aspect but they have a bunch of bulk singles for sale. Ur store credit doesn’t expire either btw”

“Really cool place but apparently you’re not allowed to take any content there which sucks for influencers, but I’m definitely going back to grab my materials”

“First of all, Peggy was so kind to let me in 1 minute before closing. And on top of that she was so patient in showing me different planes and cars to choose from. The place is massive and FULL of many toys, collectible cars, planes, ships, you name it! Best of all, their die cast items are reasonably priced. Can’t wait to go back.”

“Chris and his staff were professional and so helpful. They were very patient while I was making my decision regarding the size of my future flag and pole. It’s such a beautiful site to watch the flag fly proudly as well as a tribute to my Dad who was a Veteran. Thank you AMERICA THE BEAUTIFUL FLAGS & FLAGPOLES!”

“Hollywood Heros has two things going for it. 1) An amazing, incredible selection of toys, new and vintage. 2) The nicest owners possible. My 12 y.o. son is a huge Star Wars collector, and he discovered HH on Yelp about. year ago. We've gone maybe a dozen times now even though it's an hour round trip. We often find rare and impossible to get items here and if it's not on the shelves, it's probably in their basement, so just ask. We became friendly with Jordan and Val on our trips there, and Jordan has been especially gracious. He always has time to talk, answer questions, and be friendly. Even when we come to just window shop, we still have great talks. Recently my son was looking for an ARC-170 gunship, and Jordan and Val had just gotten one in that had missing parts, and they gave it to my son as a thank you for being a loyal customer. It made my son's month. The store is a block from the central shopping district, so when we go we get bagels or Korean chicken and make a day out of it, or go the few blocks to Trader Joes. I know a Trader Joes isn't a selling point for a store specifically, but as a parent of someone who loves shopping here it's nice to have a cute town that can be part of the experience.”

“It has oil and acrylic paints, a variety of brushes and various plastic arts, including frames ready for your paintings, as well as various materials that can be sublimated and equipment to personalize clothing and accessories. I bought Windsor & Newton Acrylics, which are what I use in my paintings.”

“If you are looking for great customer service and fair prices, you have found it here! Mark is probably the nicest dealer I have ever encountered. We inherited a lot of various collectibles from my father in law including sports cards. I checked out many different venues to sell them. I came into the shop one day when they were having a hockey card promotion. The staff was warm and helpful. Every one of them. I thought this was the best place to bring in the ineherited sports cards and other sports related items. Mark, his wife and employees could not have been more helpful or friendly. I was even given packs of Pokemon cards for my adult yep. Yep, she sure likes Pokemon. lol. If you want to buy or sell cards, American Legends is the place to go. Five full shiny stars!”

“Me and my husband come here if we wanna by some physical copies of games or old games, and also sell some games or consoles, it depends. The owner is also knowledgeable of his merchandise. You can also order from their website or eBay page. I wish they would open a second location in Queens! It’s worth the trip to Whitestone.”

“Kinda surprised during the biggest holiday season (I usually go around this time), few days before Xmas, almost everything was sold out and a lot of their shelves were empty. Majority of inventory, out of stock. I did find a few things I like that caught my my eye, and glittery. My art & craft projects I had planned to do, those items were sold out. Haven't been to Michael's since before the COVID fiasco. First time here since 2019,one noticeable difference, they now have self-checkout, and no bags to place your items purchased. Time have changed that every store I go to now has self-checkout and no bags, unless you pay extra for it. Overall, even with empty shelves, had a nice time shopping here going through all the aisle that was worth my time and to buy things.”
