This Foodtown location is a terrible supermarket because they never have anything in stock and the customer service is lousy. The cashiers always have a negative attitude and don't bag your groceries for you. Also, the store is never clean.

[Reminds me of the grocery stores in NYC, but this has to be THE worst one] This store knows just how to rob the community. By marking down prices on old food items (read your expiration dates before heading to register) My first time being inconvenienced was grabbing something that was on sale, but at check out, it was full price. Next, I brought fruit that expired the very next day. This was my last straw today. I go inside the store anxious to use the WIC benefits for a bag of grapes my toddler loves. They actually looked good, too! At the register, the 1 bag grapes came to be $14.56! The meats fruits and veggies look sick, and they have the nerve to be charging all of that for old moldy food. NEVER GO THERE if you are really looking for 100 percent quality and quantity. Even as a last resort, this store will never be a good choice. In a world where we all are suffering from inflation, they act as if they are the only ones. Shall I get into the club member card? Those normally accumulate points or rewards of some sort over time. This stores goal is to make you feel as though you get your sale prices with your card. Again, robbery.

Horrible most if the food is expired and way overpriced. In not jockeying I won't be buying from here unless i have to . I can't afford to waste money on expired caned goods that cost over 5 $ that bad

Place has gone down hill since they decided to get rid of the deli and sell prepackaged items which clearly spoil before removed from the shelf.Not the first time either also appears from comments this is an on going issue.Only come here for seltzer now which they barely even stock.

This place is only good to buy one item or two. This place is very expensive. You must check all item for expiration dates bc everything there is expired. Yogurt was two weeks old and I noticed it when I got home. Milk weeks old and you always have to dig for groceries to get fresh food.

The food town store on lake ave in yonkers use to be decent with a deli I have shop here for many many years , now there's no deli department, half of there food stock are expired goods so be sure to check twice of what your getting and also since they have new owner and management and now they have this one dark skin Dominican guy with ceaser cut & glasses that cuts his eyes on the customer that enter the store then proceeds to follow me and my boyfriend around the store mind you were both disabled, it makes us feel very uncomfortable shopping in there I hope this changes its not good for the stores business.

Pretty good produce dept since their expansion. Nice selection, everything fresh but don't expect to find organics. Tiny store but generally find what I'm looking for. Previous reviewers seem mostly to be complaining about the deli. Maybe they should be eating fewer sandwiches. Really not so good for you.

If I could give a zero I would, I used to shop there every morning after dropping off my daughter's to school and knew the staff pretty well but one day I left a portion of my groceries by accident due to rushing to return home. I thought it wouldn't be a problem to go the next day and explain what happened so I could receive what I paid for and since I was a regular customer it would be no issue, boy, was I wrong! I spoke to the owner and explained what had happened, showed the purchase on my phone ap and pointed at the cashier and line I was in and to my surprise I couldn't get my items due to not having A PHYSICAL RECEIPT!! huh??? I couldn't believe the customer service! Mind you the cashier shrugged her shoulder like she didn't know who I was. I will never go back there ever again!
