CVS is a calm place to shop and they offer a discount membership that pays off in the future

Because I had disposed of my paper coupon assuming that the discount was on my CVS card, I couldn't get the discount for my purchase. The cashier (young, Black, handsome male) advised me to always use the paper coupon when purchasing. News to me! (I had previously thought it would automatically register on my card!)

I purchased coffee which was on sale buy one get one free. The CVS store where I purchased the coffee one had one dark roast in stock, so I ended getting a rain check for another dark roast. I went to another CVS store with the receipt showing that I purchased 1 at full price, and the rain check showing I was owed one. Nevertheless I was told I couldn't redeem the rain check, because the employee at the first CVS didn't fill out the rain check properly. The rain check read Buy One Get One Free, but the cashier said it should have read 50% Off. Rightfully so the sale was but one get one free, but I was told that was wrong and she couldn't give me the coffee. Then I was told I had to go back to the store that originally gave me the rain check. So I go back to the store where I received the rain check, and two days later the store still didn't have the coffee I wanted. Just by chance I saw the employee who wrote the rain check, and he said they were supposed to honor the rain check. So I have been running back and forth between CVS stores, and I still don't have my coffee.

CVS-1217 Nepperhan Ave has the most rudest pharmacists working there. Pharmacist Edward hung up on me and has been rude to me several times! He is very unprofessional and doesn't care and doesn't apologize at all. He lacks empathy!! Long wait and the medication was not ordered in a timely manner and it is now late. I'm out of medication for my poor mom who has dementia. This is just beyond horrible. The prescription was sent by the doctor last Monday and it is still not ready. It is Friday Nov. 29. I'm out of the medication since night before Thanksgiving. It won't be ready until Monday. That's a week delay. I have switched my prescriptions to a local pharmacy. Never again! They don't care about the customers at all. Ugh!! You will be so miserable and aggravated like I have been the last 3 years dealing with this nightmare. It is horrible to be treated badly. I'm done.

I’ve been a long time customer at this particular location. It’s unfortunate that now everything has to be locked behind a cabinet - mainly the essentials. While I can understand the reason behind it, I’ve had to walk out on several occasions because it takes too long for an employee to come and unlock the cabinet. It’s a huge inconvenience. Besides that, they have been experiencing a lot of issues with their refrigerators. They regularly break down and are not repaired in timely fashion.

Pharmacy dept is the worse customer service ever. Every time I go there, prescription is not ready! The pharmacist has a bad attitude. If one prescription is ready, then another is not ready. They don't call or text me to let me know that there was difficulty in getting it filled by my doctor! I'm always wasting hours in this awful store. It is a stressful and horrible experience. I am taking my business elsewhere. I will be so much happier with a local pharmacy with delivery service. I'm so done with this CVS 1217 Nepperhan store. When I complained, the guy pharmacist said, if you don't like it , why don't you go somewhere else. That's really disgusting. When Moran was the Pharmacist/Manager, he was kind and would try to do his best to ensure I got great customer service. If things went wrong, he would apologize and make sure I got what I needed. Unfortunately he is not there anymore. This is not a good store. You will not get good customer service or any kind of empathy. They really don't care. The people in the front are a little better. There is one man in particular who is the Assistant manager there for front area merchandise who is very nice. Unfortunately ? I have had it. I will never go back until they change the pharmacy dept with new crew of pharmacists. They have no personality and are just nasty! Ugh!! Extremely unprofessional!!?

This review is ONLY for the pharmacy section; service is very poor, the worst. Not organized at all. They NEVER answer the phone. They have staff that appear to be miserable working there. No one to complaint to. Service is awful. Need a whole new pharmacy team/staff.

I purchased L’Oréal Self Tan Cream Radiance. It was in a Dark Plastic Bottle. Usually it is in a Golden plastic Bottle. I used an App 35% off. When I got outside, I put a drop on finger & it was full of Glitter.
I went back inside, picked up Aussie Gold Sun Tan Bronzer. Went to Check out, returned the L’Oréal & it was refunded. When Cashier rang up the Aussie Gold, it was Full Price. I mentioned the 35% off & she said it was gone.
She called over Chris, store manager & he said once it’s been used it can’t be used again because it’s gone from App.
I asked him to override manually, because I haven’t gotten any item for 35% off. He refused & walked away. I was so annoyed, I returned the other items I purchased.
It will be a Long Time before I ever go back to CVS. Walgreens is Across the Street & they Always Make things right!???

The pharmacy service is poor, the worst. They never answer the phone, and even when you want to complain to the manager, the response you receive is horrible.

This CVS pharmacy is horrible!!! They need better management. The wait times are horrendous because they misplaced everyone’s medication so they walking around back and forth searching while the pharmacist is so lazy she does nothing to make it better. The state needs to be called.

DO NOT BUY GIFT CARDS FROM CVS specially AMEX THEY HAVE AN INSIDE SCAMMER WHO STEALS THE CARD NUMBERS BEFORE HE SELL IT TO THE CUSTOMERS BY THE TIME YOU’RE GOING TO ACTIVATE YOUR CARD YOUR MONEY IS GONE AND NOBODY IS GOING TO HELP YOU SPECIALLY AMEX They replace a card for me for the balance that the scammer left for me which is $.31 is a shame American Express
