One stop shop for everything Ghanaian. Any time you are in New York especially Yonkers and surrounding cities do make it a point to shop there and trust me you will love it. Prices of products are moderate. You know in America every dollar count

I called to check availability on a item when a lady answered the phone and told me to call backI’m 5min due to her dealing with a customer. I called back and she told me she didn’t check if I want to know I would have to come to the store I’m all the way in the lower east side of Manhattan I explained going to Yonkers to fine out they do not have the item is time consuming she then told me “I guess you don’t want it” and hung up. NEVER AGAIN!!! Supporting these small businesses that have no customer service or respect I’ll just order online!!!

I was surprised at the plethora of African but mostly Ghanaian foods they had in stock. The prices are moderate too! Parking may be an issue. Be prepared to pay to street park.

I drove over from Connecticut today to get an Asanka Bowl and when I got there drew a blank and couldn't remember what it was called or even how to say mortar and pestle in English so I asked the gentleman in the shop in Spanish for a pilon which is what we call it.. he knew what I wanted and showed me some awesome huge Pilons which I'll be back for but among those was a stack of beautiful bowls. I wish I had more time to walk through the shop but I ended up getting a lot of goodies to take home, bread, platanos, cassava and some Shea butter. I will definitely be back soon cause I'm on a mission to see everything they have.

Is a one stop shop for African products. Customer service could be better. People particularly shop for food items that are shipped from Africa and are indigenous to the Africans. Because most of items do not come from our locality, the prices are comparatively high. Arts and crafts are also on display with the fanciful Kente clothes and royal sandals to match.
