Called to get pricing to be told by the person who answered they’re at a doctors appointment, and I should call back tomorrow. What in the world???? No thanks they’re so many other schools to choose from. Some advise…… Get an answering service to take your messages ma’am.

"I am impressed by Miss Chia unique way of teaching kid's piano. Her teaching method is structured in a positive and fun way that helps build a solid foundation for my boys to develop their interests and skills in playing piano. My 2 boys Trayven and Jet are very happy with Miss Chia as their music teacher for over 3 years now. They are on different levels yet Miss Chia is able to meet them where they are at. That’s what makes her a great teacher in my opinion.

My son has been learning piano with the Belle School for the past 2 years.Their teacher Ms. Helen is great. Always patient and ready to help. My son has turned into little musician during this time and continues to improve his skills. Also the school has really interesting teaching books and materials. Kids just love the magnetic books. My son was able to make new friends and I met some very nice parents as well. I am single working father and flexible schedule is very important to me. However, the school schedule is set for each semester and making changes can be challenging.

I am writing this review after thoroughly reading some of the other reviews. I can understand that choosing a place where you want to learn how to play piano can be a daunting task. You pay good money so you want effective teachers and lessons. I chose Belle School of Music one day on a whim. None of the locations are within a convenient location to me, but my son was assigned to a class in Scarsdale taught by Mrs. Helen. I will say first off that Mrs. Helen is amazing with the kids. She is firm when she needs to be but at the same time lovingly reassuring and helpful to the kids. She has shown nothing but expertise in her field and knows how to teach well. At first my son and I had a little trouble with her English but it was a matter of time before we got to understanding her just fine. I do agree and wish that maybe these lessons took place in more airy rooms with....windows perhaps. I at least know that the Scarsdale location doesn't have any windows. The lessons however are just one hour and so it isn't a deal breaker for me. Some people on here comment about class size. I would think anyone would appreciate a small and more intimate class. In our case it has allowed my son to get more one on one attention from Mrs. Helen and whenever the kids play solo it goes around quicker. A smaller class also helps her identify who is playing off key. I also am ok with the smaller recitals. They are in the same classroom and Mrs. Helen has always said bring all the family and friends you'd like. My son has always felt proud. In my case, this has been money well spent. He has learned good skills and will continue to do so. I have recently enrolled my daughter and hope she gets the same results.

My daughter has been taking lessons for two years at the Belle School of Music. Her teacher is Ms Chia, who is wonderful with the kids . My daughter has learnt a lot from her and is now playing beautifully. She loves learning to read using their magnetic system and loves the group playing atmosphere. She looks forward to her lesson every Saturday. Since saturday is the busiest day of the week at the school, we always have to register well in advance for a spot in Ms Chia's class, but it is well worth it! I am one happy parent!

My review has nothing to do with the way they teach, but everything to do with their method of reaching out to customers. Let me create the scene: A long long time ago a beautiful little 4 year old girl approached her momma and said, "I want to learn how to play music Mami". I (the momma) of course, wanted to please my little Mozart and said, "yes of course!!". I dreamt of symphonies and free college scholarships, so I began searching for schools that taught piano. Belle, happened to be one of the schools I called. I left my name and number to get more information, because they had to get someone to call me back. They called back and I got the information I needed. What a mistake leaving my information. That was FIVE YEARS AGO!!!! FIVE! These people call me at least 4-5 times a year. And, I've told them to stop calling and they don't. Next step is reporting them for harassment because, for reals, it's annoying. I know what you're thinking... girl, just freaking block them. I DID! THEY CALL UNKNOWN! I found a school for my daughter and she plays beautifully. Best investment ever! But, my biggest regret was calling this school. AVOID THEM or call with Google Voice or they will haunt you FOR-E-VVVVEERRRR **squints voice*

Took my daughter here for 3 years! About a month before the semester is over they ask you if your coming back to leave a deposit of $60! We were not sure this time because my daughter needed a break! We missed the last 2 classes before performance and I called and asked to make up for one class and was told no because they don't have a make up class for this particular class she's in, but if I wanted I would be able to make up the class the following semester if I would register with them again! This makes no sense! I also don't like that they perform in the class they practice in all semester! Wished they would perform on a stage in a school or library! They don't really care and I wish I open my eyes the very first year/semester because they said they would perform on stage with so many other students and for the 3 years we were there that never happen!
