Nice selection of Liquor and wine!. But the owner does not open on time. Bad habit. Othet workers are excellent
And he eats Oatmeal in front of the customers. Eat in the back Mister Quaker Oats.
Then says Restroom is out of order or has a dog.

I went to Alcove last Saturday and can't wait to go back. As soon as I walked in the owner was super welcoming. They had a free tasting and even that person was so welcoming and generous with the tasting samples. I went to Alcove Wine & Liquor looking for a dry red wine. The owner's recommendation didn't disappoint. (Four Virtues Cabernet Sauvignon Bourbon Barrel Aged) I love trying different wines and can't wait to go back to Alcove to find some more new favorites. Highly recommend. 10/10.

Not actually open until 10. I went out of my way to stop at this store on my way home. 9:45, lights were on cashier was at the counter talking with someone, that person checked out and left and the cashier locked up again at 9:55. Thank you for wasting my time.

The BEST Liquor Store in NY! You can’t beat the prices there, everything is always in stock, and the owner is very knowledgeable on his products. The customer service has been great consistently since I found out about this place 3 years ago. I literally drive 20 minutes out my way because this place is that great!

A FANTASTIC neighborhood gem run by the loveliest people. Very knowledgeable about wine and have an excellent array from top shelf to everyday varietals. Put your dollars into neighborhood stores. Fair prices and just a terrific neighborhood store.
