Hi everyone I am 13 years old and the yaphank post office Are so mean to my parents they were even kinda racist to my parents it makes me mad to see that they were so nasty to my parents I suggest that you go to shirley post office they are really nice and helpful not the yaphank post office and that is my review of the yaphank post office BTW there was a nice lady there but not there around much.

Definitely don’t go there for passport. Old lady who is in charge of passport application has no idea how to do her job. Plus she is super nasty. Went there twice with 8 month old baby for passport - first time she said something is missing which wasnt true and when I get back she said she doesn’t have time anymore and to make an appointment for another day.

First visit here since our move 7 months ago every one seemed very friendly & helpful. Tatyana is very sweet I am definitely going to be coming here more often instead of going back to my old neighborhood post office.

If I could rate a zero I would. Unfortunately I am leaving this review of the Yaphank Postal Service but the issue that my family had was mainly with one miserable old woman who I assume was the supervisor. We went in for passport appointments. She had no idea what she was doing. Said I needed a marriage certificate which my application did not require. Said my husbands birth certificate was too old.(He’s 52 so it’s 52 years old) She had no idea what she was talking about and she was nasty to boot. Would not let my daughter run her drivers license back in, said she needed to reschedule her appointment. But at the same time was helping another couple get passports who hadn’t had an appointment scheduled at all. She was rude, nasty, and deserves nothing but a demotion. We were helped at the Shirley Post Office immediately after we left Yaphank… without appointment. A word of advice, if you need a passport, avoid the Yaphank Post Office at all costs.

The manager lady has a disgusting attitude with customers she never tried to solve our issue. Clerks have no clue what's going on around them. Never going back there. Avoid at all costs bc they will not help you with anything.

I've been going to this location for quite a while now and I haven't had any sort of problems. The staff are very laid back, but you surely get the job done regardless, therefore that's a + for customer service imo. Good regards.

Been going to this office a lot of times to drop packages and they type the address and print the label. Went today to drop a package and the clerk Ryan was rude, unprofessional and with a nasty attitude, told me I have to write down the address in the package and that they don’t do it for customer’s, While I been going there almost every week to drop packages and I know the do print the label for ground. Will be my last time going to this post office, I prefer to spend a little more money at UPS and not having a hard time and a rude clerk. I don’t mind writing the address the thing is if I know I have to write the address I will do it before I get there. Look like each employee are trained different.

The postmaster told my neighbor they could move my mailbox. I do not want to move it and put it back. Neighbor then ripped it out and put on my lawn. Postmaster told me she could hold my mail until I get resolution but not her job. I called post office inspection services. They said postmaster was wrong and didn't understand her job. They are working with police to resolve issue. Do not let neighbors intimate you.

One lady was helping me about my daughter passport. I was there 3 times. She always find missing paper. 4 th time I went SHIRLEY POST OFFICE. Bald guy with the beard helping me there he was great person. He told me you don’t need all this paper work. THINK ABOUT IT BEFORE GO YAPHANK POST OFFICE FOR PASSPORT. She was been racist because of my wife had cover / HICAB

One of my friend he wants to get passport for he’s daughter.He went there 3 times one of employee give them hard time they said missing paperwork soo he went to another post office wit same papers and they except he’s application.I think the Yaphank post office they don’t except Musim people application.shame

I arrived late to my passport appointment. But they were still kind enough to help me and the gentleman waited to go on his break till i was done. They could have turned me away easily. But they were kind enough to honor my appointment and I thank Them very much! Very professional I was having a very bad day begin with but they really helped me out kudos to them

Miserable employees. Especially the older woman with short hair and glasses and employee #20. Went to mail a couple of mother's day gifts and one of my packages needed a little extra tape to secure the bottom. I kindly asked the miserable employee with a puss on his face if he could put some tape on the bottom of my package to secure it and he replied "we are a no tape office " .....ummm what the f$@k??? He proceeds to tell me I can purchase packaging tape but he just sold the last one . Again WTF??!!!! He then rolls his eyes at me walks away and comes back with a big roll of packaging tape and secures my package. Now was that so hard? Why he had to make a production out of it was beyond me. I have been going to this Post Office for years and have come in contact with some nice and not so nice employees but he was the worst. Also, I have NEVER had an issue with a simple little thing called TAPE at a post office. And whatever happened to "how can I help you" when greeting a customer and when you are done with your transaction how about "have a nice day" . Apparently those words don't exist in miserable employee #20 vocabulary. I will not return to this Post Office again . Why go somewhere when you KNOW you are going to get treated like crap. It's a shame because the building itself it quite charming and one of the older Post Office buildings that you really don't see around here anymore.
