Avatar were excellent moving our furniture and belongings from Long Island to New Jersey. Chris gave a competitive quote and explained the process in the detail. The move was handled professionally, courteously and timely by Rob & his team.

I used Avatar to move internationally from Long Island to Canada. Chris is super-knowledgeable about the moving industry and was very helpful with various suggestions, exploring different options and with being the point of contact for the overall move. I'm giving 4 stars instead of 5 because most of the actual moving was out of the hands of Avatar Relocation staff. This is because we used the ATLAS Affinity Vault system. While this has the advantage that your goods are secure in the vault throughout the move, it has the disadvantage that Avatar staff are mostly shut out of the interactions with the customer. While Avatar did some of the packing (and a very good job at that), most of the packing and loading (especially the furniture) was done by a different company; they were fine (nothing broke except for a piece of a coffee table, but it was a clean break and easily repaired) but they sure made a mess tracking in a lot of dirt into the house during the move out (for example by walking through flower beds instead of using the path). The delivery at destination was performed by a pre-determined company and I had no option to have a local mover move things from storage at the port-of-entry to my home. These guys turned out to be fine in the end; after all, nothing was broken, but communication was not straightforward and they weren't super cooperative in my attempts to keep track of what had been delivered. It did not help that Avatar had a different set of stickers from the team that did most of the moving. If you're making a local move or a move along the East Coast where Avatar will be able to personally handle all the aspects of the move, I'd highly recommend these guys. For an international move, I've knocked off one star for the reasons above.

Avatar Relocation helped us with our move from Brooklyn to Long Island, which included putting most of our furniture and boxes in storage for 3 months. Their service and staff are very professional while still being kind and caring. They took such great care of our furniture and belongings as if it was their own. They prepped our floor so that everything stayed neat and didn't get marked up, they arrived at the exact time they were suppose to and they were finished within 4 hours. For peace of mind, reach out to Avatar for all moving needs!

These guys moved us from NY to FL (2021) and then FL and back home to NY (2022)!!!!Stuff went into storage and we had no issues! Communicated with us throughout the moves, worked with us on move in dates etc .Highly recommend!!!

We planned to move out-of-state from NYC. I checked the reviews for many moving companies and found many horror stories. Avatar Relocation had many 5 star reviews.I called Avatar and met with Chris, who discussed my move and gave me an estimate. I told Chris that I would select his company based on the many positive reviews of his company and the feeling that I had about his company.Rob and his crew handled our move in mid-June. They were very professional, efficient and conscientious. They loaded our household goods in several hours, and delivered them to our destination the following day.I never worried about the move beforehand because I had complete faith in Chris's company. The move was very smooth due to Rob and his great crew-nothing was broken or missing.My advice to any reader is very simple. If you want a hassle-free, well-priced move, hire Avatar Relocation. You won't regret it.

Chris came and gave us an estimate was very professional. Wilma, Delmi and Robert were amazing, they moved our family from Long Island to Connecticut and everything went great . They were very careful with our furniture from wrapping it to , unpacking it. and they made a second stop to storage unit. I would definitely recommend fir your relocation.

So happy we went with the Avatar team for our move to a new house. From the initial meeting with Chris for an estimate to the team being on time and ready to roll on move day, it was nothing but a pleasant experience. I didn't have to think of anything as they were well prepared and professional. They took well care of my very fragile, thin-glassed china cabinet and disassembled and reassembled our platform bed with no problem. The team was very courteous and always moving. I would recommend them to anyone looking for quality services!
