We hired Andy's Moving to move our daughter out of the house she was renting. This month -- December 2021.It was on a dirt road with a long steep dirt driveway that was covered in ice. Beforehand I was expecting they might back out of the job or at least try to raise the price, but they created a path in the driveway with rock salt and said, "This doesn't scare us." Thee whole move was done in three hours, including two ridiculously heavy pieces of furniture. And the price was excellent. I'm planning to use them again in the spring.

RUN, Don't walk away from this complete Crook! The worst horrible moving experience on planet earth. Overcharged me and my daughter, refused to pay his helper, 'Jason'. Jason the helper, contacted my daughter asking when Andy received/cashed the $1,150.00 check I sent him, because Jason says Andy NEVER paid him for the work he did.Days prior to the move, Andy gave me an estimate of $1,200. My daughter gave Andy $150 deposit to secure the date. Moving day Andy shows up 3 HOURS LATE. At daughter's new apartment, Andy and Jason could only move approx. 1/2 of the truck load. According to daughter's new Landlord, the mover's were slobs, because they sat on the back of the truck eating Chinese food, smoking cig's and threw their food containers on the lawn. Next, Andy said to my daughter that he refused to come back and unpack any more unless she gave him $200.00 cash on the spot. I could go on with even further egregious unprofessional behavior but I hope this brief review will suffice. Andy is a grifter and I bet has some serious DWI violations to his credit as well. Steer clear of this low life. BTW, I was forced to give him a star in order to post, he does not deserve even one star.Services: Moving-related packing

We heard good things about Andy and asked him to help us pack up our lake house and move. We met him at the beginning of the summer and planned to move after Labor Day. He offered to list some of our personal property on Facebook Marketplace and offered to come and help us pack up. We had him over for some meals and gave him a $500 deposit. Then, he took a $50 deposit from a purchaser on one of our items and never returned it to us, and never came back to help us pack. He called us desperately asking for help because his truck had been towed in New York City with his wallet aboard and he had no money to get back and we immediately lent him another $50 via Venmo. That was the last we heard from him. He never returned our calls or texts and never refunded the $600 we gave him. A grifter, in our book.

They only get a star at all because you don't allow a zero. Steer clear!!!! Pleasant when setting up a date. Took the deposit. NO SHOW on moving day. Called and they said they would come the next day. Said yes...NO SHOW AGAINnot answering calls or texts for refund.

Don't use. Unprofessional thief stole our deposit said it was refundable but not even answering his phone or texts now.My husband is a disabled vet and that didn't stop him from taking a 1000 deposit and keeping it when we cancelled one month before the scheduled move. Not professional. No insurance. Shady business.

Thieves and liars. Refuse to return a"refundable" deposit of 1000 a month before a move. Now avoiding calls and texts. Missed appointment to survey the job. Don't use.

Absolutely HORRIFIC Experience!!! I have actually used Andy and his guys to move before and they were great but not anymore!! I booked, and PAID, way in advance and called the day before just to confirm they would be there in the am. Well morning came and no one showed up, in fact they didn't show until many hours later and only after about a dozen calls! Andy acted like it was no big deal and it just happens smh! Because they were so late they rushed through everything and ended up breaking a mirror and my mothers antique table, for which they just shrugged their shoulders!! Then Andy tried to leave with only half of my home moved and when that wasn't an option stomped around and just kind of threw the rest of my belongings in the truck! I was so upset at how I was treated and how Andy and his team threw my stuff around the second half of the day!! To make matters wires, after they finally finished moving my home I learned that my good China set from my grandmother and a very valuable painting were missing after the last truck was unloaded!! I have tried to reach Andy many times and I'm either hung up on or leave countless voicemails with no return call!! I'm so disappointed, this is not the same Andy that did such a wonderful job moving me numerous times in the past!!

Andy and his team have performed 3 moves for me and I highly recommend them. They are professional, friendly, and take pride in the work that they do. They worked two days in a row into the dark and snow to finish our move on time, and they took great care not to damage items or our home.

Andy and his team are professional, friendly, and incredibly hard-working. They recently performed a 2 day move for us in the cold, snow, and rain with 5 trips in our 20 foot rental truck, Nothing was damaged and they followed our instructions for unloading and distribution throughout the house to a T. Transparent pricing made it all very low-stress. We will certainly use them again - this was move #3 with Andy's for us.

Lucky for me, i found "Andy's Moving" on Google yesterday afternoon. I called him to inquire if it would be possible for him to move several VERY large and heavy pieces of furniture for me right away.He asked me to define for him my items which included: a VERY heavy ebony piano, an extremely large & difficult to move antique armoire that was filled with many items, and a 9x12 oriental carpet which had to be properly rolled and then moved. I was stunned when to accomodate my time line, he moved the earth to come today and do my job (with one caveat: that I empty my armoire prior to his arrival.)I can not recommend Andy and his counterpart Jason highly enough.They arrived exactly when promised, covid ready with masks on, and because I have delicate white floors, when asked, they pleasantly agreed to remove their shoes for me at the front door.As they worked, they were extremely careful in their handling of all my items, worked swiftly in tandem, and were efficient and notably thoughtful to work with. When it became apparent that I hadn't emptied the armoire as I'd promised, they placed clean moving blankets on the floor and very graciously helped me to empty and then refill it once the armoire had been moved.I'm very particular about how my belongings are handled, and that my home interiors are are left unblemished when people do a job for me. And I can honestly say that Andy's moving went beyond my expectations. Both Andy and Jason were as nice as can be, they were professional, proficient and did an excellent job. On a scale of one to ten, i rate them a fifteen and will never use anyone else.I give Andy's moving my highest recommendation!

Where do I even begin. Do not use this man. Not even a business. Takes your money. Makes up stories as to why he can't make it and keeps your deposit. Claims to rent a truck instead of bringing his own. This guy is a fraud. And I will be taking further action. DO NOT USE!!! NOT A REAL BUSINESS. HE TOOK MY MONEY THROUGH PAYPAL!!!

I called Andy to move a bedroom set from one property to another in Ulster County. He agreed to be at the property Friday the 25th of September. I contacted Andy a few hours before the move and he said he was all set. Andy text me 15min before he was to be at the property and stated his guy didnt show up and the guy isn't answering his phone...We reschedule for Saturday 10:00am. I called him while I waited at the property and he didnt answer.I checked my text messages and he stated that he was unable to make it again. This guy is unprofessional and unreliable. I saw he was rated close to 5 stars so that's why I called him. This guy cost me time and money 2 days in a row. I ended up renting a haul today and hiring 2 guys and I got the job done. Shame on you ANDY!

From a very recent personal experience... I can say with complete confidence that this is THE WORST COMPANY!!! Andy the owner is irresponsible and unprofessional. He is unreliable as his crew was 5 hours late after repeatedly hounding us to be completely ready for the move. He dodged all phone calls as his people arrived without dollies and the proper equipment essential for a move. It took 10 hours to move us out and they kept our belongings in their truck to unload the next day because the crew (who were great and worked really hard) were too tired. I had to lift and move things with them and it still took that long. We had a storage unit near the house that needed to be emptied and moved as well as discussed. They did not get to it as they ran out of time and weren't even told the storage unit stop was part of the job. Andy the owner never informed the crew about the storage unit when he knew about it from the start. They were supposed to unload the truck the next day at 6am and didn't show up till 7:30. No one was wearing masks and Andy didn't even bring one to the site. Andy made a million excuses how awful some of his crew is but it was all his fault as to why everything happened the way it did. He kept promising me that he would get my storage unit stuff and 2 weeks had gone by. He promised it would get done and the days kept passing. Finally it seemed like he was going to get it done and I told him he had until 6pm. I text him at 5:30pm to check and see what time he was coming since I waited around all day and his text back to me was "I have to take care of my paying customers first". Funny statement because I was a paying customer. After calling and calling him and no answer after another week, he finally answered and told me he would have it to me first thing in the morning. It has been another week and have not heard from him. He did not preform on even 1% of what he said. He is unreliable, broke many of my possessions and furniture which he said he would replace. He made promises which he did not keep and was rude, evasive, and incompetent. To this day, months later.. he never emptied our storage unit or replaced damaged goods. He is the epitome of a liar, thief and hideous businessman. Spare yourself the aggravation and inconvenience and do not give this man any undeserved business.
