Great to still find an independent pharmacy, with service and expertise.

Neal gave my wife and I the wrong vaccine/vaccine we didn’t request in January and we didn’t find out until May. Records weren’t uploaded to the nys server months later so my DR asked me to call for my records. The record had the wrong vaccine name so I spent a week trying to reach Neal. He then claimed he remembered he had “convinced us” against the one we drove over two hours get. When really, he was distracted yelling at his employees in front of customers about another issue when we arrived and made a mistake in haste. We asked for the original records and he said they don’t keep a written record of the “request” just the vaccine they decided to administer after a conversation. He was dismissive, insensitive and really couldn’t humble himself to acknowledge a problem--just tried to convince us the one we got was the one he would recommend anyway and started bragging about his awards.

The absolute best around where you can rely on quality, helpful information and advice and walk-in vaccinations. And the owner/ pharmacist had the first covid vaccinations and an extraordinary system to get the area vaccinated! We'll never know how many lives he saved (including mine possibly). Kudos and gratitude to Neal.

The Villiage Apothecary is the BEST in all all aspects. Neil Smoler is the greatest.. He and his staff knowledgeable and eager to discuss my medications with me. The service is prompt and friendly.

I know you can buy some things at CVS that are cheaper, but I'm not looking for the cheapest things when it comes to health care. I also go to V.A. to support small business owners like Neil who is so knowledgable and helpful. My cholesterol numbers were higher than they should be and Neil recommended a supplement, CHOLESTEROL COMPLEX. I cannot say enough good things about this supplement. After being on them for 6 months my MD was delighted with the improvement in my numbers.I then eliminated some carbs from my diet and began exercising and at my next MD visit the numbers were even better. I cannot thank Dr. Neil enough!!!

I love this pharmacy. I had a terrible experience at the CVS in Saugerties few years back where they basically treated me like a criminal for trying to pick up medication prescribed to me. Then I tried Walgreens in Saugerties and they weren't much better. I drive like 20 mins out of my way just to go to Woodstock because they are wonderful and always treat me with respect. If you're having bad luck with the pharmacies in Saugerties I would definitely recommend switching to Woodstock Village Apothecary.

This place is AMAZING! Folks who know, care and have customer service at the heart of their work. Skip CVS. VA is a gem!

Treated extremely poorly whilst trying to obtain a booster vaccination. I have pre-existing conditions and have struggled badly with long COVID. I also work in a high risk field of work and my doctor recommended me getting boosted. The girl at the register didn't make eye contact with me once - slid me my vaccination card back with an attitude of "you can leave now". The pharmacist came out and demanded I produce a prescription for pill form steroid for my condition saying an inhaler is not enough. This is completely inappropriate. In addition, the law states it is a self attestation on your condition. The gov is constantly urging us to take personal responsibility. To meet this kind of treatment is frustrating. Not to mention there wasn't a single person and a dozen blank clipboards sitting there while they block folks from access. Not representative of all their love imagery on the facade.

The guy in charge of the shots said bad things about my doctor and was very judgmental just because of a different opinion. I should have asked him if he was a physician and does he know my medical history but I was too taken aback. ?

I'm relatively new to Woodstock and went to Village Apothecary as an alternate to the big block pharmacies. Unfortunately, the staff were extremely disorganized. This will be my first and last visit.Commenting following the owner’s note: I was not contacted by the pharmacy and the pharmacy had every opportunity to be proactive and organized in resolving this matter. Additionally, some aspects of the owner’s comment are considered privileged and confidential. He will hear from my attorney tomorrow.

They will not fill a script because they know more than my doctor. What arrogance.I wrote this after his response.Maybe you are just unaware that the WHO has ivermectin on its list of essential medicine? There are over 130 studies on the safety and effectiveness on covid.I will be glad to show you where to find them and maybe educate youself. You seem unaware that ivermectin is a broad-spectrum anti-viral, anti-bacterial, anti-parasite, anti-inflammatory that also appears to have anti-cancer properties and it’s more gentle than aspirin. You also seem unaware that 3.7 billion doses of ivermectin have been used safely worldwide since 1987.Would you care to comment on the talk going around town that you received huge amounts of dollars for pushing a non vaccine with no long term safety tests. For a flue like disease with an over 99% recovery rate.Maybe you should deal with some facts from non pharm sponsored studies n stead of ad hominin attacks on my doctor.
