Mirabai of Woodstock is beautiful, calming, and full of positive energy. I visited with my children and they had a cute children's book corner. They loved it. I was also able to buy candles and Palo Santo Cones. I will definitely be returning. I have a list of books I need ?

I adore the fact that this tiny bookstore has big volume and selection of books, that comes to the genre of spirituality, being psychic, buddhism and other interesting topics.It has a lovely environment and lovely and helpful owner.

This shop was the reason I started going to Woodstock in the first place. In the early aughts, I signed up for a two-day writing workshop that was being held at Mirabai. I'd never been to Woodstock, so I booked myself a couple of nights at a B&B and ventured out. The workshop ended up being just what I needed at the time, and upon exploring Woodstock, I knew I'd be back. Since then, I've returned to Woodstock four or five times, and a visit to Mirabai is an important part of any time I spend in town. Their selection of books is always interesting. They also offer beautiful crystals, cards (tarot and greeting), some jewelry and home decor items, and you can even schedule a spiritual/energy reading there. I always leave there having purchased several things to make my time on this planet more insightful/mindful or beautiful. Even more than that, just being in the store is palpably calming. If you go into the room off to one side, where workshops are held, Mirabai's peaceful energy is even stronger in there. I highly recommend stopping in, even if it's only to browse and to give yourself a few minutes to take some deep breaths in this very special place.
