I’ve had the pleasure of working with Marco in the service department on a variety of repairs for my 2012 Passat, ranging from small issues to more complex, intricate problems. Each time I’ve visited, the experience has been nothing short of excellent. Marco is always upbeat and friendly, creating a positive atmosphere right from the start. His deep knowledge and sharp problem-solving skills are truly impressive—he’s able to quickly diagnose issues and get things sorted out ahead of schedule.
What really stands out is Marco’s ability to find cost-effective solutions. He often comes up with creative workarounds that help save me money, and I’ve come to trust his judgment completely. When he says that certain repairs can wait, I know he’s giving me honest advice and not just trying to upsell.
If you’re in need of reliable, top-notch service, I highly recommend this service center. Marco and his team have consistently provided me with the best service I’ve ever experienced. They genuinely care about their customers and go the extra mile to ensure everything is handled smoothly and efficiently.

Avoid dealing with this establishment.. I leased a car for my daughter, returned it back to them and the dealership did not stop the monthly lease payments from my account in two months, even though they already sold the car. Unacceptable customer service. Dioris Natera and Dino Karvazni- most unprofessional people I ever dealt with that put a stain on all care dealership people. They only nice to their customers in the beginning - then they rip you off and don’t return your phone calls or email.
Stay away from Queensboro Volkswagen

I haven’t had a worse interaction with a business in my entire life. We bought a car from them in November of 2023. We also paid for them to register our vehicle in Connecticut. We called weekly as our registration was not being processed for months. The dealer continued to tell us it was held up at the DMV and there was nothing they could do. After 6 months we went to the DMV and discovered that an application had never even been submitted. We requested that the fees be refunded so we could register the car on our own. It’s still been 30 days and we have not received our refund. We also discovered that the in-transit license plates they gave us were not valid. When asked for a new one (because the old one expired) they simply changed the dates which is a shady practice. They won’t return our calls, they won’t answer our emails. Avoid this place at all costs.

Doug and his team were very transparent. They weren’t predatory in their dealer practices and actually delivered a color package that was extremely scarce. The sister dealer in the Bronx not so transparent and were not honest about certain details from the beginning. 2024 Atlas is a bargain in regards to its aesthetics in comparison to its class mates ,Honda pilot , Toyota Highlander , Nissan Pathfinder, Chevy traverse ,Ford explorer, and the Dodge Durango . All of the above mentioned are like driving to a funeral on Sunday. A fully trimmed Atlas does the Job exceptionally well. Das Auto ?

Be wary about dealing with this place.
Their sales team seems to be the only people who know what they're doing and that's because they are the ones convincing you to give them your money.
Bought a used car from here on Feb 2024, paid fully in cash including sales tax and registration fees. I live out of state in NJ, which is an important detail. Was happy when I walked out.
Get a text from the finance department a few weeks later that they misplaced the cashiers check. Who just loses a $25,000 check? First sign of ineptitude. Was asked to request a stop payment, and they kept calling me about it even though I informed them several times it would take my bank 90 days to reissue a replacement.
Meanwhile my registration, title, permanent plates never came - reading reviews this seems to be a common occurrence. They told me it'll take up to 45 days. Tell me the NJ MVC is backed up, that it was taking longer because it was an out of state registration. This goes on for 4 months! No one provides any tangible assistance. And for some reason seems like nobody is in until noon? I suspect they never submitted the documents because of the lost check. Is that even legal? These people should have their dealer license revoked.
The General Manager, Dino, ignored my efforts to contact him until I explained I would inform the BBB and Division of Consumer Affairs. This was also after I had their replacement check. Even during our communication, he seemed to perpetually procrastinate - always telling me he deal with it tomorrow but rarely following through until I chased him over the phone. At least most of the other staff were easy to reach, even though they were largely unhelpful.
After another week+ of waiting, I traded in the replacement check for the title and a written agreement that they would refund me the sales tax and registration fees, as they never followed through on the registration. They said they would provide the refund at the end of the week and I'm still waiting. I suspect they never intend on honoring the refund and think they can keep stringing me along.
I would high recommend avoiding this place as it's full of incompetent and lazy liars. Zero communication between departments. Even the salesman who first sold me the car bailed this place! Huge red flag. During my visits, the staff are either scrambling and yelling at each other, or the place seems understaffed. I don't suspect they will be in business much longer with this level of disorganization and dishonesty
Update: They did provide the check for the refund after about two weeks after a bit of judging

This review is for the Service Department. While the staff was attemptive with communication, they time to fix the car was horrible. I took my car for the 40k inspection, it took them 3 days to come up with the list of "to do". Nothing was done during these 3 days. I had to bring the car back to change the shocks, car is there 5 days now, still nothing was done. $80 bucks on Uber's later as they didn't give me a loaner and 5 days without ca car.

Been coming to VW service center since old location (also Northern Blvd) and this current location, 6 years total since owning VS Golf. This visit service is surprisingly incredible and worth making review. The guy addressed some issues with my car, but not pushy. Super professional, courteous and polite. Upon service completion he walked me to my car and I asked if he owned this VW service center as I have never seen him before. It is almost impossible an employee would be this kind. He mentioned he is the Director. I said I feel the service and it is very noticeable.

Typical car dealership sleaze. Queensboro VW owes me more than $3,500 for an extended warranty refund that I have spent the past eight months trying to get from them.
I have spoken to over four different staff members including the Finance Manager, Mohammad Ali, and Manager, Dino Karvazoni, and every time they initially act helpful and then just stop responding. At this point, I am left no choice but to pursue legal action against them.
I also emailed the General Counsel - James Castle - who just ignored me altogether. When I called to speak with him in late April, I was told he doesn't work here anymore, which seems odd given he is still listed as their counsel on the website (as of today, 5/31/24).
I was initially sold the warranty under false pretenses by Mr. Ali, who told me that I was required to have a warranty since I financed my car. On top of that, he sold me the most expensive warranty even though I asked him multiple times what else can we do to bring the monthly cost down. After the sale, I found out that an extended warranty is NOT a requirement of financing and there are different levels of the extended warranty and any other choice would have lowered the cost.
As I have learned, they do not care if they are in clear violation of the law.
This was the first time I purchased a car on my own and the dealership took complete advantage of that fact. Looking back on my experience, I feel a bit violated.
See y'all in court!

I recently had the pleasure of purchasing a new Tiguan from Volkswagen Queensboro, and I must say, the experience was nothing short of exceptional. From the moment I walked into the dealership, I was greeted with a warm and welcoming atmosphere, which made the entire car buying process incredibly smooth and enjoyable.
The salespeople, Gus and Dino, were particularly impressive. They both demonstrated profound knowledge of the Volkswagen lineup, with a special expertise in the Tiguan's features and capabilities. They took the time to understand my needs and preferences, making sure to highlight how the Tiguan would align with my lifestyle.
Gus and Dino were both very patient, answering all my questions with detailed explanations and never making me feel pressured to make a decision. Their professionalism and dedication to customer service were evident throughout my interactions with them. They ensured that every detail was addressed, from the initial test drive to the final paperwork, providing a seamless and hassle-free experience.
Moreover, the Tiguan SEL R Line itself is a fantastic vehicle. It offers a comfortable ride, advanced safety features, and a stylish design that stands out. It's clear why Gus and Dino recommended it so highly based on what I was looking for in a new car.
In conclusion, if you're in the market for a new Volkswagen, I highly recommend visiting Volkswagen Queensboro. Ask for Gus or Dino, and you're sure to receive top-notch service that will make your car buying experience as delightful as mine was. They are true professionals who care deeply about meeting the needs of their customers.

After about 15,000 miles the clutch pedal on my Golf started making strange noises, and giving me resistance when I tried to change gears. I took it to Queensboro Volkswagen for a warranty repair. After several days, the service department told me nothing was wrong with clutch pedal or the hydraulic system connecting it to the transmission, and that they would need to remove and take apart the entire transmission just to diagnose the problem. The kicker was, I would need to pay $2,000 dollars just for this diagnosis, since "clutches are wear items" not normally covered by the warranty. Only if after tearing apart the transmission, the problem was determined to be covered under warranty would I not be on the hook for $2K. Since I was very confident the problem was not the transmission, and I didn't want to be at the mercy of the technicians who would be the ones deciding whether this clutch failure was due to normal wear and tear, I refused to let them take out the transmission. I took the car to another dealer out of state who was able to accurately diagnose the problem as coming from the secondary hydraulic cylinder that actuates the clutch release arm. This is a cheap piece of plastic that thankfully sits OUTSIDE the transmission bell housing. (It really should be metal, thanks Volkswagen for cheaping out on your component sourcing.) The repair requires removing the airbox and the battery tray, but not the entire transmission. I'm so thankful I did not listen to the service department at Queensboro Volkswagen. God knows what would have happened if I'd let them tear apart my transmission. Their failure to accurately diagnose the problem makes me skeptical they would have put it back together properly. At any rate they wouldn't have actually fixed the problem, which again was outside of the transmission, just like I told them it was. And they probably would have charged me thousands of dollars for the privilege of introducing new mechanical problems to my car. Anyway, I would be very wary of their service department and always seek a second opinion before allowing them to do any major repairs. They also tried to tell me my brake rotors needed to be replaced after about 10,000 miles, once again at a cost of thousands. (The rotors were fine, they just had some rust on them.)
