I had to make my move in two installments. Keating was very accommodating. The moving crew was great to deal with. If I had to move again, I would definitely use them.

Sadly they don’t pay for the boxes and moving materials they buy. They’ll charge you for them, then not pay their suppliers. We even have a court judgement against them for failure to pay and they still stiff us. My suggestion - tell them you want your boxes for free since they don’t pay for them.

When Ed Keating came to our home to discuss our needs and his proposal, we knew he was the right man for us. Our move was complicated, with some items going to one place, others to be dumped and the bulk into our new home. Ed's team handled everything perfectly. Each aspect was done on time, as scheduled. Each request was attended to without complaint and with great patience. If a move could a "pleasure," this was it! We could not have been more satisfied. Keating has my highest recommendation.

I moved locally within Nassau County and a friend suggested Ed's business as her daughter had used him twice and was very happy. Ed came to the house at the scheduled time and gave me a written quote which was very reasonable. He was flexible with the date of the moving day as I still wasn't sure of the closing day on my house. From the minute the movers arrived to the time they left I could not have been happier on a stressful day. The guys working for Ed had twenty and twenty five years working for him. They know their stuff and how to pack the truck accordingly. They took good care of fragile items and even put tarps over bannisters so there was no damage/scratches to anything. Moving is stressful but Ed and his guys were terrific. If I could give them ten stars I would. If you need a mover don't hesitate to hire them.

Had to move all my belongings to some pod type containers 45 minutes away before those were shipped to Florida. Eddie came by, provided a reasonable quote and the guys showed up right on time on the agreed date. The guys doing the moving were friendly, efficient and very careful with everything they moved to the truck and then later to the containers. The entire process was flawless and I couldn't possibly ask for better.

Our circumstances were not ideal, but Keating moving services were EXCELLENT the entire way through! When we first decided to move, we had about 3 weeks to set everything in motion. A friend recommended Ed, and when we called, he was nice and professional, and came over for a (masked) personal consultation. The fee was reasonable, and we were set to move February 1st. But then as the date got closer, the weather reports started rolling in, and we were expected to get a blizzard on the very day we were moving! So, on January 30th, Ed called and suggested we move a day earlier (January 31st) in order to beat the snow. We followed his recommendation, but while we had slowly been packing up everything a little bit each day, we still had a lot to do that we had reserved for that day before the move! Now...we had to "panic pack"!! So when we got to our (new) Move-In day, our place was a chaotic MESS! But the team came in (again, with masks on, during these crazy pandemic times) and just worked to help us finish packing up and getting out of there. Our belongings were handled with care, and everything was over and done with over the course of about 7 hours! The attached picture is what our (NEW) place looked like on the day of our originally-intended move, and it only got WORSE. No way we could have moved then! A big thanks to Ed and his crew. Highly recommended...after they handled us, they can handle ANYTHING!

We have used Eddie twice and he has hit a home run for us two times. We had to move out during the Virus crisis and he managed our move soup to nuts.

on the morning of our move they canceled on us. Totally unreliable and would never recommend. they really left us in quite a bind and it was done through a text message with no apology or option for us.

I used Ed and his team to move homes this past December. We'd been living in that home for 20 years so there was a lot to move, and a lot to be thrown away. He came by and gave a straightforward reasonable estimate, and then his team showed up right on time the day of - and executed efficiently! We had some specific expensive furniture and artwork which Ed personally came over to monitor his team take care of. These guys are very professional and I highly recommend them!

Steer far away!! If I had read the reviews below regarding this company and them damaging their furniture I would have NEVER moved forward. Before I hired them, I specially spoke with the owner, Ed and physically showed him MY furniture, which I could not have stressed more, the caution needed with my antique Original Provisional French Bedroom set which was imported from France and a wedding gift from my farther. It has so many special meanings to me. He guaranteed me all would be “perfect and well†The day of the move, I also pointed out to the movers AND the owner, AGAIN the bottom of my Bedroom set- dresser drawer which has unique specific details and must be wrapped and handled with care. They “yes'd†me to pieces. Once we arrived to my new home and while they were unloading the truck, after 10 minutes they showed me my BROKEN dresser drawer! I was clearly very upset and called the owner. Nonetheless after us going back and forth on the phone he hung up on me. RUDE. He was yelling over me and would not listen. I ultimately told Ed that I had more to advise him and he would not listen. My husband also stated while they were trying to show him “why†the dresser broke, one of the movers was cursing uncontrollably. Unprofessional by all means. Please also know the company's movers, one specially, was VERY out of line and forward with me. I am a married woman. I will have my attorney follow up with them being the owner did not want to listen. They broke my furniture. Did a very POOR job in GLUEING it back together. And NEVER put the original screws back in the armoire which they dissembled. All photos are attached. If I could give this company a ZERO, NO stars Whatsoever I would.
