I recently reached out to Driveworld regarding a vehicle I was seriously interested in. I informed them upfront that I would be traveling from DC and planned to finance the purchase through USAA. I was quoted a price of $23,995 for the vehicle, which seemed fair, so I decided to make the trip.
Upon arrival, I saw the car and decided to proceed with the purchase. However, I was then informed that the price had suddenly increased to $25,995. To make matters worse, I was told by Sandy that even at that price, they weren’t breaking even and that with fees included, they would need to be at $30,000 to $31,000 to make the deal.
This experience felt incredibly deceitful. Advertising one price online, then raising it upon arrival, and finally claiming a need to increase it even further with fees if you don’t use their financing is misleading and a blatant bait-and-switch tactic. I ultimately chose to walk away from the dealership and will be taking my business elsewhere. I cannot recommend Driveworld based on this experience. Buyers beware!

If you are thinking of buying a pickup truck in this place, don't do it, they are scammers. Two months ago I bought a car for 17 thousand dollars and these people sold it to me for 31 thousand dollars. I didn't realize it until I received the documents. my house for 31 thousand, anyway, don't buy in this place, look for another place

Be careful when trying to purchase a car here. Called for a vehicle yesterday for a certain price that was listed on 4 websites. The day after, they marked up the vehicle $4000.

The pricing on the website is LITERALLY a false-advertising grade level of deception. I called on a $13.2k car and they told me after all of their "fees" it was $19.5k BEFORE taxes.
Literally 167% of the posted price. I've worked for numerous dealerships, and they've never tried to swindle anyone with this dramatic of a markup over arbitrary costs.
Branded dealerships, for the record, so they can't accuse me of not knowing how the industry functions or about the various policies.
Save your time, and DEFINITELY your money.

Shady dealership not wanting to give me cash price on their used vehicle. Makes me hesitant like something will change once I get through the doors. You are better elsewhere no matter the vehicle!

Run fast and stay far away from this place. I agree that the 5 star reviews are fake. I need someone to explain these two photos. I circled the stock # so that anyone searching this dealership believes that they are VERY misleading, unethical, and deceptive! First picture shows their ad online and second shows the window sticker on site. I have plenty more examples but that's the car we went to see. A $16,000 difference!! There's no explanation except FRAUD! Drive world, don't respond by telling me to call the showroom. That won't be happening as we purchased our new vehicle elsewhere. If you'd like to explain the difference in pricing, do so in your response so everyone can see.
