Disclaimer, let me say that I love Club Monaco and will continue to support the store through other locations and that this is not a review about the clothes more so of the unbelievable disappointing customer service. To start, I'm pretty sure it is common courtesy to greet someone when they walk into the store because it usually sets off a welcoming vibe. Instead, all of the employees were all huddled together watching people come in and just talking within themselves instead of asking if anyone needed help finding anything in particular. Look I understand that greeting customers right away (or in this case at all!) isn't the biggest fault and that I could be more lenient towards, but what happened throughout my time in the store was not reasonable. During my time at the store, I fell in love with this beautiful white skirt on a mannequin that happened to be my size so when I went to approach a sales associate about trying it on she flat out told me no, I couldn't unless I was going to buy it right there and then...How can I buy something that I didn't even try on? It was also the only one in that size, and the few other sizes were all way too large for my frame. UGH! I find it ridiculous that I was not even allowed to try on the skirt that I potentially could have purchased. I found that experience pretty infuriating and downright absurd. I've never been denied anywhere before about trying on clothing from mannequin when mannequins more often than not are dressed in clothes that are usually my size.
