Brent did a fantastic job repairing and making keys for our front door lock. The handle and lock probably were original, and our house was built ca. 1880. He was prompt, kind, friendly, and went above and beyond to source the necessary parts. We live in Chenango County, and he was able to help us. He cut new keys for us, his van is well-equipped, and he is reasonably priced considering the amount of work done, and it was a several day job. He is a real locksmith, rare these days, we are very grateful and will use "The Key Guy" in the future! Thank you, Brent!

Was accidentally locked out of my home by a friend while I was out of state. When I got back home late on a Sunday, the professional that was supposed to assist me in getting back in didn't show up. Panicked and frazzled, I called several more locksmiths getting progressively further away from my area until I finally reached Brent who answered my call immediately and said he was on his way to help. He was quick and kind, reassured me after hearing my panic. Before leaving, he double checked to make sure I had what I needed to avoid issues in the future. I just needed his professional services, but the reassurances really helped calm my anxiety in a bummer of a moment. Highly highly recommend.

Brent went the extra mile in an attempt to program a copy of a transponder key, because I wanted a flip key instead of the OEM key (Honda won't even make a flip key for you even if you paid them). He hadn't worked on my specific model car/remote before and he spent over an hour trying to get the new key to program, but it just wouldn't start the car when he tried programming it multiple ways. He gave me the blank he had already cut for free (as a spare, even though it can't start the car without the transponder chip) and refused to take any money from me. Later, he texted me saying that he ordered some new inventory after doing some research, and told me I can come back once it arrives and he'll try again. An amazing business.

Excellent experience! My son broke the only well-worn key to his 2007 Scion, and Brent was able to make a new transponder key--no problem. Quick friendly same day service, and the price was fantastic. I highly recommend the "Key Guy" to anyone needing locksmith services.
