“I needed a small hem alteration on a bridesmaid chiffon double-layer dress that was too long even with my heels on. They were very helpful and knowledgeable and suggested a good length to take in while I wore the dress and my shoes. They pinned it and drew a white chalky line with a spray while I turned around in the dress on a platform, and they directed me well. The alteration costed $65 which I am not too sure compares to market, but I have heard of other tailors nearby charging more. It is a formal pleated dress with lots of fabric, but it was not a very expensive dress. It is extra if you pay with credit card, so I made sure to bring cash when I picked it up. I was not in a rush, so they suggested a little under two weeks to pick it up. Picking it up was not a problem. I was a little surprised they didn't suggest that I try it on after the alteration, but I kept the receipt just in case. When I tried it on, I was very happy with the results. The hem looked good and even and no longer catches on my heels when I walk.”
