This place is dangerous. Every time I go in here I find something unique and special and gorgeous that I absolutely MUST have. Sarah is lovely and knowledgeable. I highly recommend.

So there I was, standing in this place that was recommended to be to find out if a strand of pearls ( that had a broken strand ) that my grandmother gave to my mom for her wedding day were real or faux pearls only to get insulted by the woman behind the counter. Now, knowing I come from a pretty poor family, I wasn't expecting them to be worth thousands but rich in sentimental value. But when the woman behind the counter says "they're not worth the $20 bucks it'll cost you to have them restrung and we don't do that here", she just as well may have spit in my face. How dare she insult me. How about having said something with a little more compassion and dignity seeing that even though they may not have a monetary value but in sentimental value . And as far as $20 bucks- is that even much anymore? Forget this place - go somewhere you and your belongings will be valued.

Great shop to visit if your looking for great quality, and unique jewelry pieces. If you don't have time to physically come to the store. They have a online shop, you can browse and purchase from. I did the online shopping route, and everything was smooth and easy. I appreciated that my purchase, came in a gift box. Made my job so much easier. Prices are on par, with so many other jewelry shops. Plan to keep SVEJ on my list for future purchases.
