Do NOT use M&T Bank!!! My 97 year old WWII veteran father has been a loyal customer for decades. His bank card was recently stolen and the thief took $20K!!! No M&T claims that they won't replace the $ because every transaction was considered "authorized" due to the fact that it used his debit card. M&T did NOTHING to secure his account and never shut it down when the system saw unauthorized transactions! Now my 96 yr old dad on a fixed income is out $20K! If he didn't have another account, he'd be on the streets!!! These people are the worst!!! Never use M&T Bank!

I'm just reviewing this particular branch, not the overall bank as a whole (which I'm more dissatisfied with). Everyone here has usually been very nice and helpful. However, it seems very petty to not allow customers to use the bathroom, even if you have an account there. I feel sort of baited as when I first signed up for an account, they let me use the bathroom in the back. Then I come back in once I've had the account established for a long time, they tell me I can't use the bathroom there despite having accounts in good standing and being a good customer. The kicker was I was in the middle of opening another account with a banker and was told to go to a nearby restaurant. While it may seem silly, it feels unprofessional. A family member was upset with this and decided to pull their money out of this branch and find a more comfortable and welcoming place to bank with. They said they wanted a bank that treated their customers well. Their new bank has bathrooms, cookies, and interest rates far better than this place. Maybe I should switch over to that one.

Highly recommend not trusting any gentleman with the name “Gary Lang” calling from corporate at M&T. Will make false statements and accommodations that he does not follow through on. I call about a loan payment, asking it to be moved to a later date due to unforeseen circumstances. He proceeds to call me back, let me know that the payment has SUCCESSFULLY been canceled. I then wake up the next day to the payment taken out of my account. I call back today, monday, asking why the payment wasn’t canceled, he proceeds to tell me “it’s a lost cause”. Taking my money after telling me the payment was canceled is a lost cause. 0 professionalism at making the situation right. Clown.

I go here frequently as a store manager of a local business. Amanda the commercial teller is amazing to deal with and alway greets me with kindness and is incredibly friendly. Everyone is so friendly and is always a lovely experience.

The money from the Atm was dirty, had dried blood on it. One had blue dye on it. Dirty old bills. Just awful condition.
