My first visit to Barbara Oliver Jewelry was amazing! I had my diamond engagement ring and diamond wedding band repaired and was extremely satisfied! Barbara and her staff are extremely knowledgeable and professional. I found them to be very trustworthy!! I look forward to returning to her store in the future.

All of the girls were phenomenal to work with. They took the time to get to know me and asked questions about my now fiancée. Working with Barbara was great. She’s extremely knowledgeable and will work with you on what you’re looking for without trying to upsell you. I knew my fiancée would want a lab grown diamond and Barbara was understanding and asked questions as to why I wanted lab grown and what upsides and downsides were. She never once pressured me into spending more for a natural stone. She’s very detailed in her work and will not try to overrule you and talk you into something you don’t want unless she feels very strongly (trust her, she knows what she’s doing)! Everyone at the shop seemed genuinely excited for me and I couldn’t be happier with the outcome. I would recommend her to anyone and look forward to going back for our bands!

The entire staff here is extremely professional, knowledgeable, and provides absolutely outstanding service. My fiance and I were lucky enough to find her when we needed my engagement resized from a family heirloom, and again when it needed to be cleaned before our wedding. Barbara Oliver is our place to go for everything jewelry related! Thank you so much! And when you go yourself- say hello to Opal, the sweetest pup! She loves belly rubs and ear scratches (in my personal experience). How can you not love a business that loves their dogs?!

I highly recommend Barbara Oliver Jewelry!!I had a big problem with my wedding rings being uncentered, uneven & malleable after purchasing them from a different jewelry store. That jeweler basically said that they could not do anything to fix my rings and that I could get a new set instead, but I loved my wedding set and did not want to get rid of them!I decided to take my rings into Barbara Oliver Jewelry and it was absolutely the best decision. They were committed to helping me fix them and I knew immediately that I could trust them with my set and I am so happy that I did.After 2 years of obsessing over the issues with my wedding set, Barbara’s team made it look absolutely perfect! I could not be happier with the work that Barbara’s team did on my rings. I am so happy that I found them.Phillie listened to my concerns, spoke with the goldsmith and we came up with a plan to make my rings exactly what I want. I felt validated in my concerns and felt complete trust in their ability to fix the issues that I came in with. Something, I did not have with the jeweler that made the ring.I know it can be scary to trust a new jeweler with your special pieces but I know that I can trust Barbara Oliver Jewelry with all of my Jewelry! Definitely visit them if you are looking for a jeweler that you can trust!

I found Barbara's store after returning from a trip to Virginia with my parents to help clean out my aunt's house. I returned with several new pieces of jewelry, as did my mother, and Barbara's reputation online helped to put our minds at ease.When we first went in and were greeted by Barbara, her wonderful staff, and of course, Opal (the store dog). The friendly welcome instantly calmed our nerves and we started to show Barbara the pieces we brought with us.My mother brought more than I did with her: asking Barbara to repair the clasps on two of her necklaces, size down two rings of hers that had gotten too lose, and size up a ring she got from my aunt that was several sizes too small. All of that work cost less than my mother had been expecting for just the size up on the one ring.My request, as it turned out was a bit more complicated, my grandmother's engagement ring is a thin platinum band with several diamonds inset into the top and VERY delicate hand engraving along the inside of the ring. It was a little more than 2 sizes too small for my hand, and I was massively worried that any attempts to resize the ring would distort or completely destroy the engraving. My fears, as Barbara patiently explained to me were entirely reasonable, as the engravings were located in the spot that would have been the easiest for the work.We talked about it a bit, and she told me though her team would be as careful as possible, she couldn't guarantee me that the engraving would survive the resize. Ultimately, I decided to trust her, and when I came back (less than a week after dropping off the ring) I was delighted to see the engraving completely untouched and the ring now properly sized to fit. As an added bonus, the resize cost far less than I had expected.Being able to protect an engraving that meant so much to me earned Barbara my business (and that of both my parents) for as long as her store is open.Fast forward a few weeks, and I decide to take a few more pieces to Barbara. This time I was asking for a consultation. One of the rings I had gotten contained three diamonds my aunt had pulled from my grandmother and great grandmothers jewelry and set into a ring I absolutely could not stand.Barbara sat down with me and helped me design a ring that matched my taste while subtly honoring the way my aunt had chose to design the ring she had worn.Today I got to pick up the finished piece and it is more beautiful than I could have hoped for. The photo I attached really doesn't do it justice.It's barely been two hours since I left her store, and I have already lost track of how many people have asked me to look at it.If anyone has any doubts about working with Barbara, whether for resizes, appraisals, or custom work let me put your minds at ease as at this point, she has done all three for me. She is not only a tremendously talented jeweler with a wealth of knowledge but also a wonderful human being who is a genuine pleasure to work with.Thank you again Barbara, and you know full well I'll be back.Sarah (and the rest of the Stewarts)

What a great experience. Barb makes you feel so special. She has all the time in the world for you. You never feel rushed and she makes sure you are completely satisfied. I, along with the rest of my family, have been going to Barbara for over 20 years. Her wealth of knowledge, attention to detail, and willingness to go the extra mile for her customers make her the top in her field. Recently, my grandmother passed away. I was looking for a way to keep her memory with me daily. For something so special, I knew I needed to go to Barbara. She was able to cast my grandmother’s exact handwriting (taken from a birthday card she gave me) in gold and turned that into a bracelet for me. This piece of jewelry is one that I will treasure forever. Barbara treats her clients as family. From the minute you walk through her door, you know you will be well taken care of. Highly recommend!

Barbara and her assistants are extremely knowledgeable, kind and helpful. We recently had to have my wife's wedding/engagement ring repaired and diamonds replaced; part of which we got originally through Barbara. Barbara's communication on the status of the repair throughout the process was excellent. I highly recommend everyone I know to use her as their jeweler.

My family and I have been loyal customers of Barbara’s since she first opened in 2004. She honestly has become a part of our family because she cares about her customers and your relationship with her goes well beyond a simple jewelry purchase. Absolutely in love with my engagement ring. My fiancé & I went shopping together at first to see what I liked and she took so much time with us explaining the process, the diamonds, what to look for, etc. This was so helpful and made us feel so safe and sure that this is where we wanted to purchase from. It’s been almost 2 years since we got engaged and I still love it just as much & still get compliments on how sparkly it is. We are coming back today to look for wedding bands. Thanks Barbara!
