8-9-22 This is a great hardware store they have all you need for house repair, lawn and garden and so much more. Very friendly staff willing to help and answer questions. They also have treasures in the attic and basement to rummage through.

Great hardware store, great staff with a UPS drop off inside (and offer receipts). Has a second floor, although I've never been up there and they sell quite a selection of wood burning and old fashioned stoves. I might add, in my opinion, they have the very best seasonal and holiday window displays I've seen in the county. Festive & beautiful!

Do not use their service techs for wood stove repairs. They did not use the right size gasket for my stove. The owner said it was a Vermont Castings; it was not. The doors would not close properly. I had to special order the gasket and have another service tech do the installation. The owner refused to realize that different stoves require different gasket size. When the problem was obvious; all I got from "Gary" at the time was a rude in your face response. I told the owner I did not want them to come back. And a month later I was billed an excessive amount even with no resolution of the problem. A neighbor said a month later that he had a similar problem with them. They overcharged him and he war furious. He said he was not at home and it was his wife who like me; never got a bill for the job at the time. The way they operate is really questionable. You have no idea what their charges are up-front.I would not recommend them because of the sketchy billing.

I was disappointed with their wood stove techs. The gasket was not the right size and the stove doors would not close. I questioned this and I got an in-your-face attitude from "Gary". It turns out that they used the wrong size gasket. I talked with the owner and he said "This was a Vermont Castings stove"? I said no. I ordered another gasket and had another tech Handyman from Ace install this new gasket and all was well. Meanwhile I received a huge bill with no deduction for the wrong size gasket and installation. I now realize this is their strategy; to send bills out AFTER THEY LEAVE. A neighbor who cleans gutters said a similar situation occurred to him. He wasn't home and a huge bill arrived and they did not clean the chimney as requested. He is still furious over their inflated costs. When I got my bill without any reduction for the gasket I paid 1/2 of a $400.00 bill and now they have decided to use a collection agency. I would not do any business with them.

Do not use their service techs for any stove.\nTwo men came to my house and failed to install the right size gasket for my wood burning stove.\nThey also applied a new length of ******** stove pipe and cap *that I supplied; a very quick access on a one story roof.\nThe doors of the stove would not close because the gasket was the wrong size and gasket material was forced in the area where the doors are engaged.\nThey knew I was not happy with the final results. I said where is the bill.\nOh, that will come in the mail.\n$400.00 for their lousy service.\nI had to order the right size gasket and use a handyman to REDO their shoddy job.\nI mailed a check for 1/2 the amount and even though I explained the problem they failed to realize the issue..\nI just received a collection notice from them.
