Me and my husband come here if we wanna by some physical copies of games or old games, and also sell some games or consoles, it depends. The owner is also knowledgeable of his merchandise. You can also order from their website or eBay page. I wish they would open a second location in Queens! It’s worth the trip to Whitestone.

came in bought the wrong controller , damaged box came in 1 hour later to ask to change controller to correct one. wouldn’t change controller doesn’t know the difference between the controllers says they are all the same it’s nice to have a neighborhood game store to go to but i won’t be coming back here bad customer service in my opinion should of went to best buy or target they would of easily switched my controller out to the correct one, updating review the controller i purchased from here right trigger isn’t working at all i felt bad at first but i’m glad i left this review after all

Spoke with the employees about a game they had for sale on eBay that they were shipping out early. When I asked him about the game he said the post office is closed and wouldn’t be able to ship it out. After this call I checked the timings of the post offices that close in their area and they closed at 4pm (it was 3:20 pm) so I called back and told them that they’re not closed and he still has time to ship the games out for next day delivery, he tells me: “let me ask to my boss” then he comes back and tells me flat out No. I’m not sure why they were Firm on this decision, I mean, isn’t this your job? You sell video games and other items for a living? Why when I ask to “Buy” a copy of a game that “you” are selling and it’s supposed to be your job to sell this item, You go ahead and decline? Bad customer service and they weren’t willing to deal me service even though they had more than enough resources necessary to make that transaction. Me personally, I wouldn’t recommend. ??

Worst people ever. They did not want to refund me after an error on their end. Trying to scam costumers. They re-seal used games and sell them as "New". Buyer beware.

I picked up an online order of a few 3DS games (advertised as new) and got home to see that all of the games I bought appear to be resealed. Extremely disappointed. Being that local gaming/hobby shops are few and far between, I really wanted to return to this spot but I don't think I will.
Edit: Upon researching the issue, it seems like Atlus did in fact use a different sealing method- especially for later copies of their games. Overall satisfied with my first purchase here!

I've been on a retro gaming hunt recently. Sadly, there just are not the same amount of stores around that there were 20, 10, or even 5 years go. Went to PopnGames recently and this place is great. Prices were definitely fair, selection was pretty good and the owner was really nice. I went mainly to establish that this is a place I would want to come to for the future but also because I had a Super Nintendo arriving and I wanted at least one game to test it out. I left with two very fairly priced games. I will definately be back.
