Management and the board members are all a bunch of lying dirtbags. They just make the property pretty on the outside but the pipes are absolute trash on the inside. Old pipes lead to apartment floodings and the parking lots flood very easily during heavy rain too. Lots of vehicular break ins and crime has gone through the roof in the area despite their fat joke of a security “supervisor”. People have literally been found dead in the residential building lobbies from overdose and have been robbed at gun point in parking lots. The best part is that your maintenance fee is guaranteed to go up every year and you better tip em good or get the worst treatment going forward.

Water bugs and roaches should be enough, but there’s also the closed minded board that you can’t seem to vote out and rude super that calls women “whales” if they’re overweights.Wasn’t for me..

I recently looked at 3 coops for sale in the La Havre complex and although 2 of them were very appealing what struck me by complete surprise is, at the last viewing the listing agent finally disclosed some additional fees the HOA charges. One stands out beyond all others.... The parking.... Besides a $60 per month addition to the $1240 monthly HOA, which in reality is not bad, they hit you with an $8500 transfer fee.... Yes.... say that again.... $8500 transfer fee which amounts to changing the name on the assigned parking spot..... See attached photo. Now I was born at night but not last night.... I know extortion and robbery when I smell it. This management association must be corrupt beyond imagination to even think of charging that... And they obviously been getting away with it for some time... And I truly believe the other reviews from residents stating managment is corrupt. All these reviews can't be wrong. All I can suggest to those existing tenants is band together and call a lawyer... This must be investigated!!! If you see nothing wrong with this fee then I have a deal for you.... I'm selling the Throgs Neck Bridge for $25k. Send me a message and we'll setup the closing... BTW... That comes with free parking!!!!!

Not sure what happened to Saige Cafe, have never had an issue before today. I ordered the following: 2 eggs over Medium 2 orders of bacon Well Done Rye Toast With BUTTER In the past, bacon and eggs came with home fries, so I didn't think I needed to order them. What I received: 2 eggs, extremely well done, see pictures where the yoke looks hard boiled. Eggs COVERED in parsley, never have seen that before, it's eggs, no need to spruce it up. 2 orders of RAW Bacon Rye Toast WITH BUTTER PACKETS ON THE SIDE, (butter was liquified in the packets) if I wanted to spread butter on cold toast I wouldn't have said "with butter" No home fries, my fault, I should have clarified. I don't know if it was the guy on the phone or the kitchen, but I'm really sorry I didn't order from Whitestone Diner. One last thing, the container it came in was lined with paper, if the eggs were cooked properly, the yolk would have seeped into and under the paper, whoever thought of this needs to rethink it. It's breakfast, not complicated.

If I could give 0 stars I would. Management and Board are corrupt beyond words. They make up lies, extort your money, and pick and choose who they like. If you are not a friend and you make complaints they WILL kick you out and charge you for made up fines and legal fees! You DONT own your apt you own shares AND they CAN EVICT YOU! Noise is horriffic and Security is pointless. Run dont walk away from this place!

So glad this place exists! It's a total gem. Super easy to get to coming off the bridge, the food is always delicious, and the business owner is really nice. Always great to talk to.

I was thinking of buying a coop in Queens, downsizing from a house. The grounds are beautiful with a tennis court, 2 pools and a cafe. Close to parkways, food markets and public transportation. Pictures of sale units are beautiful and the lobbies look appealing. As I walked the property, I asked shareholders if they enjoyed living here. Comments; most told me the maintenance department took detailed complaint messages, but management does not respond in a timely fashion. Shareholders told me they made 3 or 4 calls before resolving their issues. Others state the Coop Board does not answer emails. Management and Coop Board should answer complaints in a timely fashion. After listening to shareholder displeasures, I pass on this property.

Management and the Board tell shareholders (it even states in the Lease) they must have carpeting and noise reducing material on their flooring so other shareholders will have peace and quiet, yet mostly everyone that resides here is suffering from excruciating noise and lack of sleep. That is, those who are not on the Board of Directors or a friend of the Board's family. Do not even waste your time looking here. The only positive reviews this place receives is either from the Cafe or the water and grounds. The units themselves are basically unbearable.

After living here you will need a psychiatrist and numerous hospital visits. Between all the banging and pounding all day and night and the neglect from the Manager Margaret Costello and all the Board members including but not limited to Steve Young, Stanley Greenberg, and Mitchell Breidbart. They make it look pretty on the outside but it festers on the inside like a disease. They ignore every complaint including noise, neighbors, dog waste, etc and all the while prosper in their self dealings.
