I truly love visiting Monique's. There's no better experience than shopping for books and discussing books with fellow book lovers. I added a wonderful book to my collection and on checkout Monique shared an 1888 store journal with me. It was so cool!!! Monique's is so much more than a book store. Stop and say hey today!!!

We had driven by this place a number of times before we needed to kill an hour in the area. From the outside, it had seemed like a bookstore + antiques and knickknacks.But upon entering, much to my surprise, I found the best organized used bookstore I've been to in a while. Everything is organized by genre, then also alphabetized not only by author but also title--which isn't unusual in a normal bookstore, but in a used bookstore, it was such a treat! Yes, there are more mysteries and romances than other types of books, but we found some fantastic ones. We left with half a dozen hardcover books in great condition for $16!Monique and her giant dogs (who were behind the counter) are very friendly. When I want new books I think I will order them through this store (which is a service she offers)!

We found some great gems in this book shop, and at great prices. We will definitely be coming back on our future visits to the area! I would definitely recommend it to any other used book store enthusiasts!

I passed the store on the way to Villa Roma and made my way back the next day. The owner was very helpful and nice. I loved searching the aisles and got two horror books and a Dino children book for my son. Hoping to stop by on the way back home :)
