Westmed 210 white plains need to do better. Staff are useless. Long wait for check in. I don’t recommend this location. Staff don’t have any matter. Yelling and playing with each while patients are waiting to be helped. Ever since they westmed switch to summit health it’s been hell.

Doctors are fine. The lab people who answer the phone for the lab are terrible.

This is regarding the Ridge Hill location, I'm new there. So far pretty and convenient location but staff has been mostly unprofessional. Med Assistants and auxiliary staff need improved training. The doctor assures you the Assistants will take care of what needs to be done post visit, you get to reception and they're in deep with each other, and seem bothered when they finally acknowledge they're at work. There's no follow-up and if you try calling you'll get someone in the Philippines who asks you a ton of questions and it all goes in a circle.

Tomorrow, Monday 01/22/2024 I will be placing my TENTH call to Westmed Medical Group Billing Department. I am YET AGAIN being billed for services that should have been paid by my health insuranceSo some of the "customer service" names are:IVANA call #5 on 12/20/2023, TINA, call #6 on 12/20/2023 who claimed to be reprocessing my claims correctly and gave me a reference number,VANESSA call #7 on 01/08/2024, MIGUEL call #8 on 01/16/2024 who is DENYING ANY KNOWLEDGE OF THIS CLAIM/SAYS NO RECORD OF CLAIM EXISTS and referred me back to my insurance company,AMANDA C. call #9 on 01/16/2024 who has to contact her "back office business team" and says this will take 7-10 business daysNow I am being billed YET AGAIN from Summit Health for visits I have already paid a co-pay for and who Summit Health themselves verified they accepted my insurance prior to my first visit.MIGUEL then informed me that my claims were submitted to my auto insurance, yet they have also been submitted to my health insurance, after denying any knowledge of the claim.Double billing is FRAUD. Also, in the state of New Jersey the LAW says we can elect our own health insurance as primary and no fault as secondary. FRAUD again for double billing to my no fault insurance. I have 2 spreadsheets I downloaded from MIGUEL and AMANDA C. indicating they did indeed bill everything to my no fault insurance.FRAUD IS ILLEGAL. NOT FOLLOWING NEW JERSEY STATE INSURANCE AND NO FAULT LAW IS ALSO ILLEGAL.I am calling and writing the state Attorney General's Office as well as the Better Business Bureau and my local news station. You won't persist in trying to collect money from me personally that you have already filed claims for with my health insurance and no fault. This is ENOUGH ABUSE!

Historically excellent. Now, not so much. After making an online appointment with a new Primary Care Physician, the appointment, for which I waited 3 months, apparently "fell off" the portal. I called the office (the person with whom I spoke was very polite) and they had no record of it. Next available appointment in 5 months. Decided not to make it. Not going to take a chance that it falls off again. Very sad.

Westmed doctor service has been good to me over the years. More recently, the billing department has become a problem. My latest annual physical has become a office visit. Hence, billing my insurance extra and charging me a co-pay.With the recent takeover by Summit Health, I noticed the change in charges. I inquire about the differences between an annual physical and a office visit and I get double talk. Asking about a refill in prescriptions leads to office visit, even though that relates to a precondition. There is no clear understanding of what the differences are. Now I have to ask what is covered in my annual visit even though doctors are not proficient in billing codes. This makes my visit more stressful than it should be.

The first time was one of the worst experiences, my one-month-old baby got covid and I called the office a thousand times to contact her pediatrician at that time, Dr. Peter Peter, and they gave me the only option to leave him a message on which he never responded, he never saw the girl while she had COVID so much so that on her second visit she didn't even know she had had it and that I insist, thank God it didn't get worse and I changed doctors.
The second time was today when they called me a few days ago because the doctor who did the sonography did not send me to do an analysis that had to be done, because the person I called told me to go to the laboratory today and when I go the front desk tells me Unfortunately, they can't take the sample because I need a piece of paper that the doctor was supposed to give me and didn't give me, so I should go to the doctor on Monday. (I mean, I have to demand something from the doctor that I don't even know what they should give me) and to make matters worse, they didn't do anything to try to help, just get me to leave and come back when the doctor can give me the paper, a doctor who works at that same campus. and everything related to me is supposed to be scanned on my chart! The only reason I have continued going there is because I prefer to give birth at white plains hospital but west med 210 westchester is useless their doctors and staff

This place is a factory to pump patients in and out like they are on an assembly line. No real care to be found.

I was a patient at this facility, until I noticed the doctors that I was seeing was more concerned with perceiving medication, transferring to other doctors. Not so much on finding a cure. I was that good old patient that took whatever was prescribed for me until they had me on high doses of medication and having panic attacks while driving to my radiation treatment. For a medication I did not need to be on. Putting my life in danger.

WestMed has completely changed. They have become patient unfriendly, disrespectful and unhelpful. Calling to make an appointment is a rigorous task where it is difficult to understand the person on the phone. Additionally the person who is attempting to make the appointment does not follow through, you could never speak to a direct nurse, and they you do not receive a call back in a timely manner. Beyond disappointed with Westmed.

Westmed patient service has gone downhill after the recent union with Summit Health. The call center is terrible, cannot get appts. online, too many levels to eventually talk to somebody in practice group, navigating website is terrible!!. Cannot schedule annual physical exam in timely manner. Doctors not available, (exception Gastroenterology) or booked up for a long time in future.I will start looking elsewhere for medical needs. Too bad! They used to be so good.

I like most of my doctors at Westmed, and appreciate that there is one computer system with all of my records. However, there have been some recent changes that indicate the quality of service is going down.Incoming calls used to be answered by people in the southeast region of the U.S. (Georgia, I think). Starting about a month ago, calls are now answered outside the U.S. A supervisor told me so. The reps struggle to understand what I am trying to convey, and I struggle to understand what the reps are trying to say. It's not good. I understand costs have gone up, and Westmed is trying to save money, but this is medical stuff. Having reps answer the phone who can't speak English and struggle to understand what I am trying to communicate is...well, quite frustrating. I am not a satisfied customer. In addition, when I press option #2, to speak with someone in the doctor's office, I again get a rep who barely speaks English. I'm told they don't have the ability to transfer me to someone in the doctor's office. They can only send a message to the doctor's office.Again, all this was different and more streamlined up until recently. The quality is going down. It's a shame. Now I understand why several of my doctors have retired or moved on to different practices. Westmed isn't the quality medical practice it used to be. I suggest you look elsewhere.
