I go to Westchester Road Runners to simplify my life. I don’t have time to keep up w shoe tech and trends, but I need the right shoes. I always walk out with great sneakers that keep my plethora of exercise injuries stabilized. Today, I went in for swim goggles and all they had were some fancy Italian goggles. I was a little annoyed because they’re expensive, but I swear with them, I’m ready to buy two, Huge improvement in my swim experience, plus they had a tyr jammer in my size. New White Plains residents, Support local small businesses, this is a good one.

I have been back many, many times because I have a lot of issues with my feet. Adam and Barry take their time to help me until i find a sneaker that is good for me . I know it can't be fun...lol...

Poor selection. They don’t carry a variety of colors and models.
The sales person recommended the worse shoe for my issue even after me telling them. I went to my orthopedist who told me that. Of course there is no returns after using the shoe, so… Don’t trust them. Running shoes can hurt you if you use the wrong ones. Go to the city or Brooklyn and ask a podiatrist or an orthopedist.

Jerry was so patient. I came in wanting to try Hoka so he brought out every model they had and let me go for a run in each of them. When I was unsure, he was perfectly willing to spend more time with me and show me some other brand options. I feel like I got to try them all. i’ll gladly come back next time

AWESOME store!!! it is for runners or people that have problems with their feet, YOU MUST WAIT to be served and once you are with them they will do everything to find the right shoe for your feet issues or goals. I only buy my shoes here and for my family, i dont go anywhere else. Yes i had the same feeling on the wait times, and customer service but once i waited i realized why they do it. again it is a boutique store for runners.

We went in today to get my son proper running shoes and spikes for his wide and flat fee. The sales rep who worked with us was amazing and spent 45 minutes with us making sure we got the right shoes for his feet and for the events that he runs in at school. I would give him 5 stars and would go back to him if we need other running shoes.
But there was another sales rep that was very rude to us while my son was trying to test the shoes on the track that was very off putting. He was also with a customer, but he should NEVER speak to any customer in such a manner.

I needed snakes because I’m training for a marathon, and I arrived just as they were about to close. The customer service was exceptional, offering valuable tips for running and recommending great shoes that truly made a difference during my training sessions.

If only staff would understand what customer service is. The lack of people skills / willingness to sell/ help was so surprising that we decided not to give this store any business despite finding what we were looking for.
I can find sneakers in several other stores that really want to sell.

Stopped by yesterday to have an assessment. Nora couldn't be more helpful in finding the best sneaker for my foot-strike. She took the time to clearly discuss and pull a variety of sneakers that would suit me. Walked out with my new Ghost 15's in hand and a very happy camper. In the age of Amazon, customer service like this doesn't exist. Please support this wonderful small business!

I am so pleased with my experience at this store!! I’m a newer runner and was due for new shoes for an upcoming half marathon. Barry was super knowledgeable and really took his time fitting me for the perfect shoe for my needs. It was such a nice and personalized shopping experience. Also, they have a great return policy if the shoes don’t end up working for you (if used indoors/on a treadmill). I’m confident that I got the best shoe for me.

I came in looking for trail running shoes and Harbert is one of the best running store employees I’ve ever interacted with. He pulled 8 or 9 different pairs for me and he was very patient while I tried on every pair. He listened as I told him what I felt with each shoe and he tried to figure out what worked best for me. We also had a really nice chat throughout about our running experiences. In the end, I didn’t find a shoe that fit me best (which is of no fault of Hobart)— he even helped me find a store that might carry more options for me to try. Hobart said to me that his main concern is that I find a shoe that works for me right out of the box so that all I have to do is enjoy my run. I’m so impressed and so glad I finally found a running store I can trust. I’ll be back for my road running needs for sure. Highly recommend for anyone looking to be fitted for running shoes!
