This service dept was fabulous in the beginning, (2020-2021) and now I wouldn’t go if it weren’t prepaid. Sept 2024 I went in for brakes and told Elijah about 3 other services needed, he left another guy to check me out and the three things had gotten dropped out. I had to stand around about 15 mins and finally go look for my car and ask someone to pull it out of the storage lane so I could go home. The only Volvo people around were on the phone. I emailed Elijah the following week to make an appt for the three things and included my contact info, twice, he replied and asked for my contact info, and I have not heard from him since / more than a week ago. I have left two voicemails for a service manager and no replies.

I’ve rarely been treated so poorly by any service organization, ever. The manager here sent me to Volvo Corporate to fix my defective rear seat belt, then evidently told them I was lying about the cause (it had been caught in the seat folding mechanism, I believe) and that “a dog had chewed on it”. For your own sanity, please go elsewhere.

Do not use for Volvo service! Routine service takes days even with an appointment. 24 hours went by and they had not even looked at my car. No loaners available. They will recommend ridiculously complicated solutions for minor issues.

I was doing my friend a favor and was picking up parts, and the parts department had no change, so I had to go out and find a bank. So not only they inconvenience me but they are the most unfriendly dealer I been to.

I cannot adequately describe how unprofessional and unresponsive the service department in White Plains was when I needed a tire replacement. Not only was the tire "out of stock" but there was no alternative offered, no date of resolution given. (And the car does not come with a spare or donut). The service people promised a return call. After a day and a half and three promises broken, my neighborhood repair guy was able to get the tire for me and put it on. I love my Volvo but am very disappointed with the service (or lack of service).

Service is horrendous!! When you buy or lease they tell you that they offer loaner vehicles when you service your car, but when you try to schedule with a loaner it is at least a 2 month wait. I have been here over 3 hours waiting for my vehicle, I had an appointment and even came in early. When I asked what was taking so long, I was told “I don’t know why but we only have 3 technicians.” I despise this place!

Wow, I wish I would've read all these reviews before dealing with this service center. Which I only go to because I purchased right across the street. But saturday September 7th 2024 upon picking up my volvo after weeks of being in their parking lot upstairs due to a black display screen which controls radio and air conditioning; maps, etc. Can't remember the service guy's name but very rude after asking him about noise in wheels when braking. He states well today is a bad day to pickup vehicles and he didnt know what to tell me about noise. Then he said I'll get you a business card for our service guy's manager to call on monday. He gave an attitude like he didn't care about our issues, and when my boyfriend told him that his customer service skills are bad in the way he showing verbally how it's not his problem and for us to deal with someone else on monday. My boyfriend and him were cursing each other and the service guy told us "well if you don't like the service to not come back." It's sad that my boyfriend can't trust the Subaru service department with his 2024 legacy because of his bad experience with his previous 2019 crosstrek. Now I have to basically go further to get my 2023 volvo serviced elsewhere since I can't trust that my vehicle won't get damaged slightly when dropped off. TRUST is earned not giving. It only took 1 day of bad service and both my boyfriend and I are researching on trading in our vehicles for something we can feel confident servicing without worry since it's our money being spent on these vehicles.

I had an amazing experience at this center during a family road trip. Our oil light came on and we quickly realize we were near this center so we tested our luck to see if we could get a quick oil change done even though it was nearing the end of the workday. Even though they were closing soon, Justin greeted us with a really great attitude and got us sorted very quickly! Since we were already there, he even offered to check our tire pressure since we had mentioned we were going on a road trip. And to end, he was incredibly friendly, incredibly efficient, performed a high-quality of work and when the extra mile by offering to check our tire pressure as well. We couldn’t be happier with the service!

I won't be going back and here's why. I have a 2018 Volvo S60 with less than 50k miles. Went in for a strange high pitch noise. Was told it was the drive belt and quoted $1,400.00 for parts and labor. However, a quick Google search shows the part is not even $150.00. The next day I call 3 places and the highest was $420.00 the lowest was $304.00. Lastly my receipt showed no traces of that quoted price for drive belt replacement. Seems fishy at best. Not even angry. Just disappointed.

OVERCHARGE scam!
$1200 for rear brakes, while any fair decent shop will do it for $600.
Check prices around, don't use this shop!

$900 for oil change, air filter, spark plugs replacement and diagnostics on a 12 year old car. $540/$840 for labor. In the end I was offered another $11,500 worth of repairs... I'll stay away next time.

Actually should minus stars !!! 2023 XC90 service light comes on on W Plains says almost two months wait for a loaner. Garbage

Very disappointed. I'm not confident that they know how to diagnose & repair a real problem for your Volvo. My Volvo had to be towed and repaired twice for engine overheating within the last 6 weeks only to experience the same problem and needing to be towed again a third time.At this point, I think they may be able to only do regular service, but I will be searching for another place that is actually able to repair cars. They also can not supply a loaner unless you book months in advance. Their facility is shiny though ...
