I've been a Shoprite customer for years. I can't remember not being one. Today I went in to do my regular shopping and I decided to get fresh bagels. I only got half a dozen. I had asked to have them cut. The first person at the deli told me no. But,I had already spoken with a sweet gentleman from hot foods. He said if they don't help you, I will. I didn't even have to turn around before he agreed to help me. Josie was at a different Shoprite that I used to go to. Kim I've only known since I've been going to this particular Shoprite. Both are very sweet. There's also several others who've helped with or without asking.

Will never come again. Store is clean but employees are not helpful and seem angry. Got yelled by a random customer from cutting the line. I apologized because it is my first time at this store so I didn’t know where to line up since there really isn’t stickers or a sign that says where the line starts at self checkout. This man kept yelling at me at the top of his lungs. I literally left to find the supposed line. But Jesus Christ that man was extremely aggressive and the employees literally just watched and laughed like normal. I am extremely disappointed. I felt so unsafe. Train your employees to better manage these types of situations.

I just walked out the store very upset. Asking the girl with the purple hair in charge of the cashiers in the front for baby formula and she kept ignoring me. My husband asked her after we did the line if she can please give us a baby formula and she keep ignoring us walking around with bags acting like she was busy. My baby was hungry and started crying at this point and this girl didn't even care. She kept walking away from us. Seeing my baby crying and getting not help from this worker was very upsetting. I feel so sad that someone like her is in charge of baby food. So Heartbreaking seeing my baby crying. She should not be the only one carrying a key for baby formula.

Josie the manager is beautiful person !! She is very helpful Mr Lopez is amazing. All staff are friendly ask any employees for help. Spanish. Speaking staff. Please DONT BE RUDE TO EMPLOYEES!! KIM IS CUSTOMER SERVICE.. SHOPRITE SAVED WHITE PLAINS!!!

Small store; the lines were very long. The staff made all customers file into 1 line and directed them to either self-checkout or an employee checkout.

Its wonderful for me. Things I need at the right prices and easy to find the items and the deli persons nice. I met Wayne who cooked my egg omelet the way I wanted it who was courteous, nice and with wide toothy smile I like very much. I've been a regular for years now and seems to me this branch seldom or even rarely disappoint me.
Another one who helped me is Daniel at the seafood section..he was nice and even put my shrimps inside a bag of ice and bag again so it would not leak. He deserves more than just a thank you. That kind of guys making customers happy.

We were surprised that we were not able to get some of our favorite food products at this location especially since we've frequented other ShopRite's & usually found what we needed.Another frustrating issue was few registers open even though there were lines.

Yesterday I was there around 9-9:30 pm at the self checkout when I ask the cashier for a paper bag, she couldn't hear me because she was on the phone and when I repeated what I wanted the cashier, a weighed woman (I could not see her name) rolled up her eyes which was very upsetting to me. I think she is racist or the employees don't have customer services skill. It's not the first time I notice some of them don't like to help customers. I don't like to be like mean but you have to know it.Edit: I can't believe you don't take Android pay anymore. The terminal will decline my card on my phone as expired when is not. I went to customer service to tell them and the lady who in fact was rude, said only apple pay. For me is very inconvenient because I carry the minimum items, especially when I go to the gym and then shopping. Too bad ?

I went shopping with my elderly mother, and I was grateful that I was there, because none of the shopping carts worked, once you tried to bring them to the parking lot. There were signs that said, no shopping carts taken out of the store. I had to carry all of my mothers lengthy groceries all the way to the parking lot while she waited And sat on a bench. This policy does not respect those with limited capabilities, and ability to carry all of their food to the very large garage. I will not be going back and will just take the extra five minutes to drive to the ShopRite on Central Avenue.

I picked up a tres leches cake from the bakery department for a party last night with the majority of the guests being Puerto Rican. There was a lot of love for this cake! Only a small piece is left as many guests had seconds. Those that asked where I got it were happily surprised to learn I bought it at our local Shop Rite. I've had a tres leches slice at this Shop Rite before and it was good, but the whole cake is so much better. The container for the whole cake keeps it moist, while the pre-cut slices don't always have as much of the liquid in them. I can't vouch for the tres leches cake at other Shop Rites, but the one at City Center knows how to make it right.

Clean, well stocked and with a decent selection. They do a good amount of sales and have in house coupons that you can use also! The staff is friendly, the hot food, and sushi are both fresh!Great store all around.
