Highly recommend this place for all things skating. Their staff is very knowledgeable and professional. They answered all our questions, and made great recommendations to fit the skill and strengths of our skater. They have a lot of inventory at competitive pricing, and are able to heat mold and sharpen skates. Truly, a one stop shop. They do all this with a very friendly, patient and accommodating manner.

Great specialized store for all things skates. The machine n focus is hockey. We went there to buy roller skates. They have decent selection of high quality skates. They have all styles of roller skates and good range of sizes. Got full set of guards too. Friendly and knowledgeable stuff.

We went in to fit an adult and child for figure skates. Chris was helpful, great at dealing with our young daughter and we were so happy we found this hidden gem. Great place.

The shop is located on the 2nd floor of a normal storefront and is accessed around back. Don't let the low key entrance deter you - inside you will find a well stocked store and service center that is run by dedicated skating enthusiasts. Highly recommended

Feels like you step into those old school shops with tons of things in the wall and around. The staff is pretty knowledgeable with skating stuff. For kids you can buy their gently used skates and keep trading up every year ( that helps saving !). Overall a very nice shop experience. Everyone should shop brick and mortar stores if we want to keep them in your neighborhood!

Such a great shop run by great people. My husband and I just moved into the area and were looking for a skate shop - I skate recreationally but I figure skated when I was younger so I'm kind of picky when it comes to it. A Google search brought us here and we walked in just to look - ended up leaving with a pair of skates (to be fair, I did want a new pair for Christmas)! Employees are super attentive to everyone who walks in and you can tell they care about their customers. Even if it gets a little busy, they make sure everyone is being helped. Highly recommend this place and can't wait to return for my skating needs!

Peck's is a treasure - it's the kind of place you think of when people talk about supporting small businesses. I've been coming here for years - they are so incredibly helpful. They have an amazing trade-up program for kids, which is great because no one wants to buy another pair of brand new pricey skates every year, since your children's feet grow an inch every time they put on a pair of socks. But more importantly, the staff is so helpful, whether you're a 6-year-old just starting out on the ice or an adult grabbing a new pair of street hockey skates. I was just there this weekend and Liam spent so much time with me and my son, answered our 5,000 questions and made sure we left with exactly what we needed. Couldn't ask for better service - my son was even talking about how nice the guy was on our way back home. That's what keeps us coming back.

I had an issue with the buckles of my rollerblades and the owner was very helpful in guiding me to fix this issue. It is a family business place, well stuffed with roller blades, ice skates and related-supplies. Great to support this type of business!

Fantastic customer service, competitive pricing, and used skates available too. My daughter is 6 and her feet are constantly growing. She was fitted for a size 1 ice skate and I was hesitant because I had just sized up her sneakers to 2s. I was assured there was plenty of room and deferred to them on it. Of course a month later she was complaining about them being too small. We came back to Peck's and they exchanged them for 2s and only subtracted $20 from the refund for her having worn them for a month. They had some scuffs and the insoles showed her feet print but they were otherwise in pristine condition. It was a better deal than I hoped for and I sincerely appreciate the accommodation of her growing feet. It goes to show how important customer service is because we will for sure be customers for life now (she really loves skating so it seems like we will stick with it, ha see what I did there?). Thank you Peck's!

Hidden gem. Tons of hockey goodies to go through. Picked up some pucks and a stick. Had an out of production tapered abs blade that I didn't think I'd see again...can put it on my old tapered shaft that I thought I'd have to throw out.

Great experience yesterday at Peck's. I took my wife to get her some ice skates and the staff was very knowledgeable and friendly. They sure seem to have everything one could need for ice skating, rollerblading or hockey. DO NOT BUY SKATES ONLINE. Go to your local shop, like this one, that is family-owned, has been in business for over 50 years, and will help you try on a few pairs and give you good advice. They even sharpened the blades for us and placed them in the skate oven so they can mold to my wife's feet. Who knew a skate oven existed! The gentleman who assisted us was great. I will definitely be returning for future purchases. Thanks, Peck's!
