Terrible service. Hertz is not the same anymore! Avoid Hertz! Rented a car and after driving 1 hour we realize that the car had problems with the sensors. Had to go back one hour to exchange the car at the Westchester airport. At least what they could do was to upgrade the car. Nope! They said to get an upgrade we would had to pay! Really! Really! And we still had to wait for the new car at a parking lot in the cold weather because it was not ready! Really! Hertz is not the same!! Never more Hertz! I thought it was a serious company

Hertz at this location needs a better contingency plan when they know they have customers coming in on one of the last flights of the evening and that flights arrival could be delayed past their closing time. Having an individual physically behind the counter telling customers that they are closed and they are SOL until the following morning isn't acceptable, especially at a small regional airport where it's hard to make alternative transportation accommodations that late in the evening.
Several years ago, while flying into HPN on one of the later flights in the evening I had a Hertz representative call me with a number to call in case they were closed when I arrived in order to get my vehicle. Why has this practice been discontinued?
Anyone who is planning on renting with Hertz at this location please recognize they don't care if they have customers on the last flight of the evening with reservations. If it is 5 minutes past midnight, you're on your own....

Awful customer service. Hard to speak to someone for issues not covered by the automated system once you leave the counter. Rental counter customer service is inconsistent and impersonal at beat. Be prepared to be frustrated.

Terrible customer service. They don’t answer the phone, and when I did get in touch, the staff was rude and unhelpful. It’s unreasonable that a credit card is required to rent a car. I booked through Uber thinking it would be convenient, but it was not. On top of that, they required a plane ticket in order to pay with a debit card, plus a $500 deposit for a $140 reservation — completely insane. Even though we had the money, we had to cancel our trip. This whole rental process feels like a scam.

Do not rent from this location, there's a jamaican lady of front that uses my information after the transaction was supposed to be voided, I had a reservation for Saturday the 23rd to be checked out on the 24th but when I went there after I put my credit card information and got the key and walked out the lot to see that they only had SUVs I told her that I can't drive SUVs I can only drive a sedan she keep pushing me to get the car I told her no I don't drive SUVS, so went back in and she pretended she voided the transaction by putting a fake stamp Void on the receipt, just for me to get a bill of $200 saying I had the care for two days plus late fee of $12 and was returned on Monday the 25th while I was 100 miles away from the airport, her and the manager are not to be trusted at that location. you will be a victim of FRAUD

$128 charge for bringing the car back with a 7% battery charge. This is despite the fact that they provide zero charging equipment to allow you to charge the car before you return it. They need to provide people with Tesla adapters, if they’re going to expect people to return the cars with a full charge. They should also let people know that there is a $128 charging fee before they rent the car.

I was overcharged vs what my confirmation stated and customer service was horrific. I was an hour away from the airport and all they could say was I had to go back to remedy the situation. I am a gold member and all they had to do was honor my confirmation price. When I called the rental place all they could do was put a note on the slip - still no refund!!!!!

I had a reservation for a midsized car, booked through Costco. They claimed they had none left and I needed to pay (a significant amount) more to get a car. Umm, that's not the way it works.... I chose to rent elsewhere as after that exchange I didn't trust them to not run up my bill.

Do not use this place. They did not have cars available for multiple people. Staff is horrendous. Manager was even worse. Lot of upset and screaming customers. I was there for over an hour and still did not get a rental even though it was reserved and paid for well in advance. Other customers said the same thing. After an hour and a half I walked over to enterprise and was in and out in 5 minutes without a reservation. Trust me Enterprise is much better. I will never use Hertz again because of this experience. I would give negative stars if that was an option.

This place is bad news! Had our car reserved for weeks. We're gold members. Been waiting on line for over an hour and still 3 people in front of us. If they don't honor our reservation, you will never see us again and we give you lot of business....update, you ran out of cars!!!! Got one from national
