Do not use this place. They did not have cars available for multiple people. Staff is horrendous. Manager was even worse. Lot of upset and screaming customers. I was there for over an hour and still did not get a rental even though it was reserved and paid for well in advance. Other customers said the same thing. After an hour and a half I walked over to enterprise and was in and out in 5 minutes without a reservation. Trust me Enterprise is much better. I will never use Hertz again because of this experience. I would give negative stars if that was an option.

This place is bad news! Had our car reserved for weeks. We're gold members. Been waiting on line for over an hour and still 3 people in front of us. If they don't honor our reservation, you will never see us again and we give you lot of business....update, you ran out of cars!!!! Got one from national

Great experience at HPN and Hertz. Super easy to get the car and get out, and even easier to return it. When we pulled in, there was a guy there named Chris in the parking lot that took care of everything for us and was super nice - great representative for the company! If I ever return to that area I’d go with Hertz again for sure.

Terrible customer service. Outrageous charges that were almost double what I was quoted. Left my Easy Pass in the car and when I tried to call the rental desk I wasn’t able to talk to them directly because it’s NOT AN OPTION. Hertz has gone downhill. Used to be a great company. Will never use them again.

Great customer service, vehicle and a seamless experience. But $10.45 per gallon to refill car (3.5x retail price) is insulting.

I would like to give the Hertz NO Star at all.Just because I am a Chinese American, Hertz discriminated against me; and Hertz is a Racial Discrimination company.I was booking a Tesla Model 3 as advertised ~$350,When I picked up the car, the agent said that my rental is a KIA EV and wanted me to upgrade to Model 3. The rental fee suddenly doubled to ~$650.Today, I searched the Hertz website at the Westchester County airport. I cannot find a KIA EV.Hertz is supposedly a reputed business. However, the whole thing is a SCAM.

I had the worst experience, at this location, that I have ever had renting a vehicle. Let me start by saying I am a Presidents Circle level member. I was told by the very rude woman working the desk in the airport that, "Oh, we don't have that here". The first car she gave me was the smallest, most beat up, car they had. I went back to the desk and asked for a different car. She told me, "That's what you booked". When I mentioned my Hertz status, she said, "That car is an upgrade." It was literally the worst car they had. When I pressed the issue, she reluctantly gave me the second worst car on the lot. I had to go to a different location the next day because the second car had grinding brakes, bad alignment, and 44,000 miles. This is unacceptable customer service.

When you think it can’t get worse, it can. The two guys manning the desk couldn’t have cared less that I arrived. I’m a 5-star member and they just chatted w one another as I waited. Called to try to get a car and casually told me I had to wait they didn’t think to pursue other car classes. I had to yell at them to get them to do anything. Didn’t care at all about their jobs or about anyone but themselves. They never even looked me in the eye. Awful. Stanley (supervisor) saved the day.

Absolute morons work here Apparently all you have to do is click a few buttons on your phone and get half the price off instead of a walk in rental. which makes zero sense to me so when I reserve the car on the phone instead of at the desk, they told me too late. We already charged your card and they wouldnt let me Exchange for the reservation I made I will never work with these rude scammers again stay away. Too late?! I didnt even sign anything but they charged my card and wouldnt cancel BAD BUSINESS

I was stranded with my family at this airport around 9PM. I commonly grab rentals but usually booked them in advance. This agency refused to help me called me a "walk up" whatever that means they had plenty of cars but refused to attempt to do any work. Suggested I could try again in the morning. I hope I never get stranded in this toilet again. I'll never forget being an issue (stranded) and then having to deal with these jerks
