We started our son at Children’s Corner on Westchester Ave when he was 6 months old. After considering several child care options, we quickly felt we made the correct choice with how great the infant teachers were. Miss Anastasia and Nancy remained his favorite teachers even as he progressed out of the infant room. Aliya'h and Cookie run the center and are great with communication. We had to relocate our son to a different center due to a move, but we kept him enrolled at a different Children’s Corner location due to the positive experience at Westchester Ave. As good of a total value as you’ll find in the area.

I love Children’s Corner .The staff is friendly .I know my child is in good hands while I’m at work .My daughter smiles when I hand her over to staff In the morning .I love that they provide you with a daily update form telling you what your child did for the day .I highly recommend children’s corner to everyone .

I cannot say about about Childrens Corner 1133! We transitioned there after our original school closed during covid and I’m so happy we did! All of the staff and teachers are wonderful!! I have a preschooler and a toddler so I have had experiences in multiple classrooms and every one of them are great! We unfortunately had to take our kids out when we moved in the fall and I miss it every single day!!! Don’t hesitate to send your kids here! They will be in GREAT hands!!

Just want to update my review:We decided to leave my son enrolled in this center despite having our jobs change locations and have not regretted our decision yet. He is almost 2 now and continues to grow and learn but also has such incredible relationships with his teachers. He is in toddler 1 right now with Ms. Sade and she knows him so well. One example of this is when he was being picked up one day, his class was going outside- he was next to his teacher, sitting down because it seemed he may have done something he shouldn’t and he was waiting by the guidance of his teacher. She told him he could go play and he very happily gets up. There was no yelling or dictating, just guidance and respect for him. I’m beyond grateful for them.Old review: My son has been in Children's Corner since he was about 9 months old and the day I came for the tour, I knew this place was treating these kids with respect and loving them! You could just tell. Now, my son is 16 months and runs in this place like he owns it, coming out at the end of the day with a smile and food all over his face. He is so happy and developing so nicely. We will be pulling him out to be closer to home at 18 months BUT if I could have him stay I would. Aliya'h and Cookie (Administrators) are part of these kids lives and you can see the dedication they show to each child. CHILDCARE IS NOT EASY, especially during a pandemic. Linda and Sade, the Walkers teachers are incredible and they will get all the praise for taking care of my growing toddler and showing grace and love to him every single day. Do not hesitate to enroll your kids today. :)

unprofessional work place , unprofessional Director who lets ups mail carrier sit in on the toddler classes during nap time to flirt with Director and canoodle , most toddler teachers have no license training to teach children would highly not recommend sending your children here. !

We have had an incredible experience at the Children's Corner. My son has been in this school since he was 3 months old, and has made significant gains in his development. The staff who work there are friendly, kind and very professional. They love what they do, and are so dedicated to the children under their care. The school Is always open, which is great for working parents, and has yet to shut down for any covid related reasons. Communication from teachers and administration is clear, informative and reliable. I am so sad that my son will be graduating from their Pre-K program year, but I am so thankful that he got to experience the last 4 years with the amazing teachers at the Children's Corner. Thank you!!

Children’s Corner is a truly amazing daycare. Toddlers are constantly helped to develop and interact with other children. The staff gives parents great feedback and suggestions on the child’s progress. It is a place that makes a parent feel that their child is safe and happy while they are at work.

Everyone that works here are incredible! Not only do they make us feel like we are all family, but my son loves every caretaker here! I love that they are structured and my son has learned so much, but they are also super clean and diligent through this pandemic. The teachers are always communicating with us and looking for ways to teach each child better individually. Its a super safe environment and administration has this place running smoothly! Definitely happy that we chose this place for my son!

I absolutely love Children’s corner! My 2 year old runs in everyday like he’s home. The staff is so dedicated, friendly and respectful to me and my child. I love that they’re still taking temperatures, making sure everyone is healthy. I go about my day without having to worry if my son is ok and when I pick him up he’s always happy and clean. I would recommend to anyone!

Highly recommend.The staff all around is super nice and my daughter loves them. They all know my daughter by name even though they do not have her. Aliya’h and Cookie are awesome too. They as so helpful and quick responding to any questions or inquiries.We started here after the pandemic and picked Childrens Corner because it was competitive in price and was half way between home and work for me and literally off and on the highway for my commute. The facility is spacious and has plenty of classrooms to accommodate every level. My daughter has developed so much and learned so much being there. She started at 9 months and unfortunately we have to leave at 18 months To find a daycare closer to home since we will be having another child. The one of the things I loved was they supplied the meals and snacks. I would bring in extra because my daughter could eat. They were great accommodating her food allergy as well.If I could bring them closer to home I would keep them there. I’m so sad to leave and I would highly recommend to put your child at Childrens Corner. You will see the development in your child.

This place is amazing! I had a little rough time in the beginning because of adjustment from Covid shutdown! But now,,, my baby girl loves it! Staff are very friendly, loving and welcoming towards Parents and Kids! They work with the Parents which helps to calm anxieties!!!I am blessed to have found Children’s Corner!

Please be AWARE!
I don't have kids here but I work at the building, the playground is a nightmare, especially on the toodler's part. Kids CRY a lot, some are literally hysterical. Several kids are looking for ANY hug from teachers but instead they are got swilled out with water from the hose. Terrible! One small boy cries for hours alone.
I don't know what happens inside the building but outside is a disaster for any kids. I would not recommend.
PLEASE BE AWARE AND KEEP SAFE YOUR KIDS!
