My parents went shopping yesterday. They bought over $1200 worth of clothing. There was a 25% off sale. My father had a pair of pants altered. When my mom went back today to pick them up (they charged $40 and never mentioned that they charged for alterations) she noticed that today, there was a store wide sale of 30% off. When my mom asked for a price adjustment, they refused. When she then suggested that they return it and she will buy it again, they told her she had to go home and get all the clothes, which she did. Needless to say, she didn’t buy them back!

Managnent should seriously consider putting all their employees at this location and ESPECIALLY the managment through customer service class.Currently the Managnent customer service skills style reminds me that of a vulture or a hound.Yelling at customers across the room, being aggressive towards the customer the second one enters the store, relentlessly asking if they can help with return, find a size or anything else without being asked.Just an unpleasant experience.Some of the newer more low key employees should not follow the lead of older ones.Ownership changed but not much else here.8/16/22

I will say I appreciate my experience with this particular store and company because I will go back— to bypassing this brand whenever I shop online or in the Westchester.For a store that charges $80.00 for a dress shirt, I expected better customer service. I bought a shirt and after a couple months of it sitting my closet I decided to return it. When I returned it at the store, with the receipt, I was given a merchandise credit on a company card.I thought I lost the card, so I reached out to their “customer service” department. Luckily, after going back and forth with in store sales associates with pompous attitudes, email representatives providing me with inaccurate information and filing an unanswered complaint with the BBB to have my store credit reissued, my boyfriend found the card at his place.The story does have a happy ending: I went to the Brooks Brothers outlet store in Woodbury. The sales associates were much nicer and I spent all but $1.17 of my store credit. (No they did not give me the remaining $1.17 in cash.)Anyone looking for a Brooks Brothers merchandise credit for $1.17?
